About this Role:
BRINC is looking for an experienced sUAS pilot to perform final manufacturing test on our outdoor drones at a remote test facility. You will conduct flight tests of the BRINC Responder, executing test maneuvers, gathering flight data, identifying and troubleshooting in-flight anomalies, maintaining safety margins, and reporting any issues in hardware/software to partner teams. In this role you will work closely with BRINC's R&D and Manufacturing teams to deliver high quality test flights for production units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate sUAS in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
* Conduct pre-flight inspections, post-flight inspections, and post-flight analysis.
* Monitor weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and other potential hazards to ensure safe operations.
* Daily test site setup and breakdown, including making sure the test site is up and running at the beginning of each day, then brought offline and cleaned up at the end of each day.
* Execute flight tests and share critical feedback with partner teams
Qualifications:
* FAA Part 107 Certification.
* Practical experience with sUAS.
* Knowledge and experience operating in US airspace.
* Ability to convey technical information to various stakeholders.
* Experience debugging hardware and software systems.

Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems.
Responsible for completion of required documentation.
Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
Participates regularly in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach.

The fixed wing pilot is responsible for safely operating Pilatus aircraft to facilitate the transport of critically ill and/or injured patients. Fixed wing pilots possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The fixed wing pilot will be required to work varied shifts and may be required to be available for on call shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional pilot
Must hold a FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate
2500 hours PIC time Airplane
1500 Turbine hours
500 hours in a turbo prop aircraft
250 hours instrument time
250 hours of unaided night time experience
25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of ground and flight school within last 12 months preferred
Recent air medical transportation experience preferred
Mountain experience preferred
If you do not have your SE ATP certificate at the time of hire, it is expected this will be added during your Initial Hire training event at Flight Safety or no later than your first annual recurrent training event. The cost associated with any required written exam for the ATP will be at your expense, however the cost of the additional checkride will be covered by Life Flight Network.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate both verbally and written
Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization
Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN's service area is required. Must hold a valid driver's license, an automobile in good repair and be able to provide proof of auto insurance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
Safely plan flights; load passengers (including patients), baggage and cargo; and analyze weather conditions.
Maintain logs and records, as required, prepare written reports
Clean aircraft, unit quarters and hangar
SAFETY:
Ensure adherence to LFN safety and risk management culture as outlined in Safety and Risk Management Agreement, SMS, and related policies
Preserve safety and risk management culture and rules
Report all concerns related to safety and risk management immediately, working with Director of Safety and Risk Management, Director of Quality Management and others as needed
Be knowledgeable regarding all safety and risk management policies and procedures; be an agent for communicating safety and risk management information
