Responsibilities
Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness

Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners

Detailed Description:
This is a 6-month, part-time, temporary, non-benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2026. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.
The SparkEd Project is a pilot initiative to create a YouTube video platform where students teach other students how to 1) be content creators and storytellers, and 2) learn content in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) topics while integrating the use of AI. The goal is to amplify youth voice, creativity, and peer learning while testing new models for student-generated educational content.
The Pilot Project Manager will support and sustain planning, coordination, and implementation of the SparkEd pilot. This role involves managing project milestones, coordinating with educators and youth participants, and supporting the development of engaging, educational video content and certifications, while building a social media following for the YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with a background in educational innovation and digital media. This is a pilot program/emergent invention and will require flexibility, adaptability and creativity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee project timeline, deliverables (e.g., curriculum development), and documentation for the SparkEd pilot.
Manage budget in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Coordinate communication between the Jacobs Institute team and advisors, educators, and youth participants.
Oversee communications, marketing (i.e., Facebook ads, YouTube ads, banner ads, other advertising), and social media outreach (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin).
Support recruitment and onboarding of students, teacher participants, consultants, and mentors.
Manage logistics for video creation, review, and publication on the SparkEd YouTube channel.
Assist in developing guidelines and resources for student-led educational video production and tiered certifications.
Collect and organize feedback to inform future iterations of the project.

The Role
Saildrone Pilots are Part Time Non Exempt No Minimum Schedule members of the Mission Control team at Saildrone. Pilots work on a rotating watch schedule monitoring our USV's 24/7/365. You'll work with Mission Control, Technical Operations, and Fleet Service teams to ensure vehicles are able to execute their mission.

Vehicle Management
Daily remote piloting of Saildrones around the globe, facilitating mission execution while ensuring vehicle safety
Daily monitoring of vehicle navigational and payload status
Monitoring and managing drone system health and escalating issues when appropriate

Awareness and ability to safely navigate shipping lanes and ship traffic while maintaining reasonable CPAs

About this Role
PJ Helicopters is actively hiring Call When Needed Second in Command pilots for our CH-47D Utility Hook and UH-60A+ Utility Hawk program. Call when needed pilots will have an opportunity to participate in Fire Suppression, Utility and Construction operations. These challenging external load operations will help support our diverse customer base and wide range of utility contracts operating under Part 133.

What You'll Bring
* 500 hrs. total turbine helicopter time.
* 500 hrs. total CH-47D/F (BV-234) and or UH-60A/L/M (S-70).
* FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with BV-234 or S-70 Type Rating or proof of current qualification in CH-47D/F or UH-60A/L/M for military applicants.
* Current FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical certificate.
* Current flight review within last 12 months of employment.
* Available to start and travel to California upon hire.
* Pilots must provide own flight helmet and tan flight suit.

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $32.00/Hr. - USD $36.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.

The hiring range for this position in California is $247,900 to $332,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
