The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
* Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pilot-in-Command reports to the Chief Pilot regarding Company policies and procedures. Duties will involve FAR Part 135 operations as part of a crew.
The Pilot-in-Command has the following responsibility for safe transportation of passengers, crewmembers, and cargo during all aircraft operations. He / She may delegate duties but not the responsibility of those duties.

A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airport to be used.
Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of this Manual, the Operations Specifications and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
To determine that weight and balance procedures are followed, and that the gross weight and CG of the loaded aircraft are within limits for operation.
Ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew.
Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
The Pilot-in-Command must adhere to the Certificate Holders directions and instructions, and compliance with all operations specifications, regulations and policies set forth in this manual with regard to operational control under Part 135. Failure to do so by the PIC may result in legal action by the FAA.
The Pilot-in-Command must carry out his/her duties and responsibilities in a "professional manner" at all times. The Pilot-in-Command sets the example for all crewmembers with regards to proper conduct, appearance, alertness, discipline, adherence to policies and procedures and standards. The PIC is expected to have open communication, and to be receptive to input from all crewmembers, toward the shared goal of a safe flight operation.
Comply with all regulatory, operations specifications and policies and procedures in this manual.
Being a Pilot in Command requires to have FAA/DOT Part 120 Pre-Employment drug test, and enrolled in the random drug and alcohol testing program.

Experimental Flight Test

Must be a graduate of an SETP recognized test pilot school.

As Pilot-in-Command, apply the principles of Crew Resource Management.
Utilize teamwork, multitasking, task prioritization, effective communication, and time management skills.
Complete flight-related forms as necessary.

Cutter Aviation has an immediate need for an energetic and knowledgeable aviation professional to serve as Pilot-in-Command [PIC] of a new PC-12 Pilatus based at our Addison, TX location. This position will involve single pilot operations supporting the owners travel requirements as well as charter flying. As PIC, you will be the primary face of Cutter Aviation and must be an exceptional relationship builder and communicator with the drive to provide world-class customer service to the owner and our clients. The position also will require you to liaison with Cutter Flight Management regarding all phases of aircraft operations and support. He/she is the external representative of our company to our A/C owners, operators, business partners, and to the business aviation community.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Commercial and Instrument (ATP Preferred)
Previous Turbojet Type Rating and/or Turboprop experience preferred
Current 1st Class Medical or ability to qualify for one.
No accidents, incidents or sanctions in the past 5 years
Knowledge of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements plus the needs of crews and passengers
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to train an SIC pilot to properly perform their functions
A sincere desire to assist customers and be part of a team
Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
Professional in appearance and mannerisms
Able to develop a friendly rapport
Attention to detail
