About this role:
Supports manufacturing operations by conducting laboratory analyses and evaluating results, as needed, which provides critical data. Prepares samples and performs basic calibration, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and methods. Uses data systems to acquire data and monitor analytical system performance. Reports results to clients. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Responsibilities/Duties
Performs routine analyses.
Collects samples according to the Sample Plan.
Prepares basic calibration standards.
Performs basic calibration and preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
Evaluates validity of data, applies basic statistics, interpret results and takes appropriate action.
Monitors analytical systems, identifies problems, conducts first-line troubleshooting and escalates as appropriate.
Documents, communicates and archives analytical results and calibration data.
Follows EHandS and operating discipline management system (ODMS) procedures and practices for work tasks.
Suggests improvements to lab work processes and tools.
Escalates non-routine requests to appropriate team member for follow-up.
Duties also include but are not limited to the following: environmental rounds, wastewater ponds operation and treatment, confirmation of raw materials.
Experience/Skills Required
Completion of Vocational Education or Upper Secondary Education (i.e. High School Diploma) plus laboratory, manufacturing or other related experience.
Post Upper Secondary Education coursework in chemistry or related coursework.

The RPO will receive on the job training on at least five (5) but no more than twenty (20) simulation scenarios on each control position to be supported, after which an FAA representative will observe their performance and determine if certification will be granted.
The RPO shall achieve simulation laboratory certification within one hundred twenty (120) days of reporting for duty at the facility.

As a Technician I, GMP Manufacturing - Fill/Finish you will play a crucial role in the aseptic filling and finishing operations of AAV-based gene therapy products in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations. What You'll Do
Execute aseptic filling and finishing operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records, ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines and quality standards.

In this role, you will set up, run and clean equipment in moderately complex production areas (Dispensing, Charging and Bin Washing in Flows 1-6 or Dispensing or Layering in Flow 7) and makes product following appropriate procedures in a clean and safe work environment meeting with all cGMP, FDA, DEA, OSHA and other applicable regulations (see appendix for specific details).
Key Responsibilities:

Provides input and suggestions for process improvements as well as for procedure writing and revision.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform inspection and packaging of product-filled vials according to SOPs and batch records.
+ Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing and packaging equipment.
+ Conduct routine equipment maintenance and ensure proper documentation.
+ Participate in filling support activities and internal support operations (e.g., stocking, material movement, inventory tracking).
+ Identify and report equipment malfunctions; perform basic troubleshooting or adjustments.
+ Understand and document batch records, packaging configurations, and component reconciliation.
+ Follow cleanroom protocols, hygiene standards, and adhere strictly to GMP and safety procedures.
+ Train new team members on basic processes and equipment as needed.
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 1 year of GMP manufacturing work experience (Pharm experience is a plus!)
+ Ability to successfully pass a background check
+ Must hold a valid driver's license

Essential Function:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate machines that support the Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes
* Learn and perform 5S in and around work area by enacting lock out/tag out
* Develop proficiency in 1-2 designated processes through hands-on training and experience
* Learn and apply Silfex policies and procedures to perform routine tasks effectively and safely
* Follow all material handling requirements to ensure quality of product and equipment
* Read and interpret assembly drawings, follow all work instructions, setup sheets and process specifications
* Record quality and production data accurately and promptly in batch records, ERP systems, and productivity or quality logs
* Ensure cleanliness of the area and perform general and routine housekeeping tasks
* Ensure equipment is functioning properly by performing routine and minor maintenance. Initiate maintenance work orders when necessary to support operational efficiency.
* Develop and maintain competency in basic troubleshooting of equipment
* Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures as appropriate
* Perform other duties and projects as assigned

* Must possess basic proficiency in operating computers, including navigating software and web-based platform

Physical Demands:
