DESCRIPTION
Provides services and supports for clients that help the residents develop appropriate skills to increase or maintain their level of functioning. These services may include the mental health services, rehabilitation services, social services, personal services, medical, dental and other health care services, educational services, financial management services, legal services, vocational services, transportation, recreational and leisure activities, and other services required to meet a resident's needs as defined in the guidelines of their personal care plan. This person works directly with residents to promote recovery.

Such reporting is required for, but is not limited to, suspected incidents of physical assault, neglect of care, sexual exploitation or financial exploitation, which may also include borrowing or removing property from the program.
Transfer residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, chairs, toilets, etc. Using the training and guidelines provided for such activities. Pushing clients in wheelchairs may also be required.
Assist residents of either gender in personal self-management activities including eating, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene and grooming, cleaning, community access, personal spending, socialization, recreation, skill acquisition, and self- expression.
Participate in the inventory, ordering and/or purchasing of client program supplies, including food or medications, as assigned.
IV. Safety of Milieu
Effectively assess and manage crisis situations.
Demonstrate effective verbal intervention skills in de-escalating clients.
Demonstrate ability to identify risk situations and manage aggressive behaviors.
Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe conditions; for example, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, etc both routinely and as needed. Report all hazards.
Observe clients for changes in behavior and promptly report these changes to clinical supervisor.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety procedures, fire drills, and evacuation plans. Conducts evacuation/fire drills as assigned.
Remain up to date on all trainings.

Document PCS notes/contact log/ADL sheet on residents' daily activities.

Education and Experience
This position must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass a criminal history background check, and have a current drivers license. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS:
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.
In addition to a pre-employment background check, each employee, volunteer and contractor shall be checked on a monthly basis against the OIG and GSA exclusion lists, as well as other federal and state agency lists. Must show proof of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and $100,000 or more in property damage and maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS. The employee's insurance is primary with CCS insurance being secondary. CCS reserves the right to deny any employee the use of a vehicle owned by CCS.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an individual to be regularly available for work as scheduled. Position requires professional and personal skills to cope with stress associated with work involving a high degree of mental, emotional and physical demands. This position also requires the ability to bend, stoop, push and pull on an ongoing basis. This position may require an individual to lift and transfer clients using a two-person lifting technique. POSITION DETAILS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety is the number one priority in everything we do, including work, education, and recreation.
Work Project Participation: CWPC members will be part of a crew with up to 5 Crew members, led by one Crew Leader. Crew members are responsible for the completion of assigned projects under the direction of their Crew Leader. They work closely with program staff and other participants, paying specific attention to safe workplace practices, proper tool use, work quality, and efficiency.
Development and Education: Crew members participate in informal and formal educational discussions. A Participant Success Plan will be created by each member to foster self-improvement and reflection throughout the program.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Compensation:
A total living stipend of $9000 (before taxes come out) will be pro-rated and paid monthly. Compensation includes meals and camping accommodations during workdays.
A 450-hour AmeriCorps term earning a $1,956.35 education award will be earned at the end of a successfully completed service term.
Training/Professional Development may cover: Intro to home ignition zone, USDA Chainsaw Operation and Maintenance, Brush Cutter Operation, Power Pole Saw Operation, Wood Chipper Operation, Driver training and Trailer Use, Conservation Tool Use and Maintenance, Defensible Space Training, Work Site Analysis, Conservation Education, Risk Management and Safety Procedures, and more.

PROGRAM DATES:
Service term from February 23rd through May 15, 2026
Members will be expected to camp as a crew 24/7 with cycles of 10 days on and 4 days off throughout the session in Eastern OR. Meetup point for the crew point in Pendleton, OR.
Member training from February 23rd through February 27, 2026. Transportation to training sites will be provided from Pendleton, OR.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a seasonal full time/hitch-based position. Members will be required to camp with the crew 24/7 for the duration of the session, alternating 10-day camping hitches followed by 4 days off. Crew members will have 4 days off at the end of each 10-day camping hitch.
Typical workdays are 8 hours between 7am-5:30pm and vary due to weather, IFPL levels, training needs, etc. There will be other required camp chores before and after these work hours.
Crew members receive a 30-minute lunch and at least three breaks each day.
You will have camping/all meals provided during training and working.
This is an immersive camping position, making time away from the crew not usually possible (unless approved in advance).

TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE The Service Department is an integral piece to the success of the business and customer experience at Bane-Welker. A Technician Apprentice is responsible for assisting with repair and maintenance work on equipment, in a timely manner, as assigned by the Service Manager with the potential for independent assignments. An apprentice must have mechanical knowledge including hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills. Principal Responsibilities:
Participate in schooling, recommended training, and take initiative to stay up to date on relevant service knowledge, bulletins, and other changes regarding new and existing products.
Performs set up or pre-delivery inspections on new or used equipment as prescribed by manufacturer's manual.
Successfully complete assigned jobs efficiently while communicating with mentoring technicians and service management.
Complete and process all work or school related paperwork for each assignment in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
Performs equipment repair and maintenance work, according to time schedules assigned by service manager.
Seek feedback from the service manager and technicians to improve efficiency and productivity.
Assist other technicians with current tasks when required or requested.
Follow all safety, environmental and regulatory compliance protocols, policies, and requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide and/or maintain the tools required to efficiently complete assigned work.
Professionally maintain and clean equipment as agreed upon.

Assist parents/caregivers in gaining skills having their voices heard in treatment and other system settings.
Support parents/caregivers in meetings as needed with community partners and other resources, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) conferences, court proceedings, and DHS.
Obtain and maintain certification as a Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Assessor and maintain this screening in person and over the phone as necessary to clients, caregivers, clinicians, social workers, and other community members.
Maintain complete and timely documentation of clinical files and gather and maintain data information in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Maintain the required levels of productivity and performance standards and meet all required work deadlines. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while working with families.
Seek appropriate clinical supervision where necessary, particularly around boundary issues and attend appropriate agency training as determined by the Family Support Partner Lead.

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Certifications

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in

PERSONAL AUTO INSURANCE
Must hold a valid driver's license as well as personal auto insurance for privately owned Vehicles

Must show proof of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage and
maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS.
The employee's insurance is primary with CCS insurance being secondary. CCS reserves the right to
deny any employee the use of a vehicle owned by CCS.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job. The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, or stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and ability to talk and hear. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a healthcare environment as well as in the community. The noise level in the health department environment fluctuates, but occasionally one may be exposed to loud noises. The noise in the community, including the homes of customers, is often difficult to predict. Occasional out of area travel and overnight stays will be required for attendance at meetings and/trainings.
However, the employee also will be required to work in the communities, homes and other living environments, of the clients we serve. Handicap access may not be available at all places where this position must go. The environments in these situations are difficult to predict and may be in uneven terrain.
This position exposes the employee to the everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as an office.
