Execute scheduled UAS (unmanned aerial systems) missions for Arch Aerial LLC, primarily in industrial settings. Duties and responsibilities include execution of UAS flights, data management, and data transfer. Must be familiar with multi-rotor UAS operation; fixed wing UAS operational experience is a plus. As this is an entry level Junior UAS Pilot role, previous professional UAS Pilot experience is not required, but is highly recommended. Whether a candidate has previous professional UAS Piloting experience or not, training will be conducted by Arch Aerial on Arch Aerial piloting, process, safety, and technical skills for all new hires.
Workload will consist of roughly 35 - 45 hours of operation per week, with opportunities for overtime beyond 40 hours per week. Additional opportunities for piloting work both inside and outside of the Greater Houston area will become available from time-to-time. Changes to duty periods within a 7-day shift assignment are discouraged but can occur depending on local needs at the Base.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
GS-2181-12 (Airplane Pilot/Helicopter Pilot):
Applicant must possess a USAF Pilot rating, hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order and have a minimum of 750 total military flight time in the organization's mission design series.
GS-2181-13 (Airplane Pilot/Helicopter Pilot):
Applicant must possess a USAF Pilot rating, hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order and have a minimum of 1,000 total military flight time in the organization's mission design series.
GS-2181-13 (Flight Instructor):
Applicant must possess two years of progressively responsible experience in a flying component of the U.S. military establishment in assignments that normally would qualify for progression into the position of Wing Operations and Training Officer or its equivalent.
AND
Must possess a USAF Pilot rating, hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order and have a minimum of 1,200 total military flight time in the organization's mission design series.
GS-2181-14 (Flight Instructor):
Applicant must possess three years of progressively responsible experience in a flying component of the U.S. military establishment in assignments that normally would qualify for progression into the position of Wing Operations and Training Officer or its equivalent.
AND
Must possess a USAF Pilot rating, hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order and have a minimum of 1,500 total military flight time in the organization's mission design series.
NOTE: Pilot hours as described above may include (Primary, Secondary, Instructor, Evaluator, Stimulator, Student and other US Military and Foreign Military Time) in mission design series of organization of position being filled. You must submit an ATAFR-209 Form, Flying History Report or any official document what shows your most recent flight (last date actively flown), total flight hours and type of aircraft flown. FAILURE TO SUBMIT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, WILL RESULT IN AN INELIGIBLE RATING.
These are Air Reserve Technician (ART) positions. ARTs are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay. Air Reserve units and members; are subject to immediate call to active duty in mobilization to meet a national emergency. For additional information regarding ART positions and/or military qualifications, please call **************. Retired military are usually ineligible for membership in the AF Reserve. Retired military that have active AF Reserve assignments may apply provided they show assignment (position) on the application.
A military service member's statement of service/certification will be accepted IF a terminal leave form or DD214 cannot be provided. The statement/certification should indicate member's separation from active duty is within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. It must be signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or commander of your unit or higher headquarters and must indicate when your terminal leave will begin, your rank, dates of active duty service, the type of discharge and character of service (i.e. honorable). Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)
Supervises and manages flight crews in coordination with the Director of Operations.
Coordinates in assigning crew to trips.
Assists the Director of Operations in formulating and implementing operations policies and procedures.
Assists with adding and removing aircraft from FJC Charter certificate and ensuring that the aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations.
Ensures proper documentation is onboard all aircraft.
Maintains aircraft and crew profiles with various entities.
Maintains aircraft weight and balance program.
Submits all requested reports regarding flight personnel to the Director of Operations.
Ensures that all flight crew personnel are qualified and current in accordance with FJC Charter Operations Specifications and the Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Ensures that all aerodromes and routes served by FJC Charter are operationally suitable and meet FJC Charter standards and requirements.
Disseminates information to all crewmembers pertaining to routes, airports, NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, company policies, and regulations
Has authority to act for the Certificate holder, including the signing of FAA correspondence and operations specifications.
Manages FJC Charter MEL program.
Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) - Complies with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures.
Must meet all required qualifications stated in CFR Part 119.71.
Provides exceptional courtesy, professionalism and customer service to FJC Charter clients and owners.
