About this Role:
BRINC is looking for an experienced sUAS pilot to perform final manufacturing test on our outdoor drones at a remote test facility. You will conduct flight tests of the BRINC Responder, executing test maneuvers, gathering flight data, identifying and troubleshooting in‑flight anomalies, maintaining safety margins, and reporting any issues in hardware/software to partner teams. The Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for LFN to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. The Rotor Wing Pilot will possess strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, superior customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The Rotor Wing Pilot will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Will be required to drive personal or company vehicles whenever and wherever business needs necessitate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5 years' experience as a professional pilot preferred
2000 hours Total Time required
1500 hours as Pilot in Command
1000 hours R/W Turbine time required
100 hours instrument time preferred
75 Instrument hours total - with at least 50 hours in aircraft instrument time required
100 hours of unaided nighttime required
Pilots with air medical transportation experience preferred
Pilots with NVG experience preferred
Mountain experience preferred. Experience evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Must hold a FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating

Performs pre- and post-flight inspections. Plans flights, assists in loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, and analyzes weather conditions.

Operates aircraft tug, tractor, and/or ground handling equipment

Excellent grammar; verbal and written communication, and customer service skills
Travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN's service area is required

The Float Rotor Wing Pilot will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Our float positions are full-time. The purpose of our float pilot is to cover open shifts on the schedule due to line pilot vacations, leave, etc. Seven shifts are guaranteed in the pay period, but may not be consecutive or all at the same base.
