We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced UAV Pilot to join our Aero Services Division. Employees can live in any state but must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of company projects. The primary deployment location will be Las Vegas, Nevada. Employees in this role enjoy a Flex deployment rotation schedule of roughly 12-16 weeks working and 12 weeks off while maintaining full benefits. Flex employees work only while deployed or in a training status and receive competitive deployment compensation.
Under general direction, this position is responsible for coordinating ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and ground and flight safety. Serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of assigned Unmanned Air Vehicle(s) (UAV) and as Instructor Pilot providing academic and in-flight instruction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coordinates and actively participates in ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and safety.
* Remotely pilots vehicle to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability during engineering tests and flight test/demonstration support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers.

Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Mission Technologies, a Division of HII, is seeking a Flight Simulation Trainer 5 to serve as a Variable Air Threat Simulator (VATS) Fighter Subject Matter Expert (SME) as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual's primary responsibility would be to operate the VATS simulator from the cockpit and/or console to support of the USAF Weapons School, operational test units, and deployed combat squadrons. What You Will Do
Operating simulation cockpits and/or console to represent synthetic threat fighter aircraft capabilities and replication. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
+ Operate VATS fighter simulator cockpit controls that include digital cockpit displays, stick & throttle, advanced sensor integration and fusion, as well as multi-aircraft formations and tactical employment.
+ When required, act as Mission Director or Red Czar depending on scenario.
