The Pilot of a Gulfstream 650 aircraft, executing global flight operations on behalf of a senior executive or government official. Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations
Exercise full authority and accountability for all flight phases in accordance with FAA regulations (14 CFR Parts 91, 119, and applicable OpSpecs) and other federal agency-specific Flight Program Standards.
Plan and execute domestic and international missions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, diplomatic, and overflight requirements (ICAO Annex 9 and 17).
Conduct pre-flight planning, route selection, weight and balance computations, and fuel management to optimize range, payload, and contingency performance.
Supervise and direct the flight crew, ensuring clear crew coordination and adherence to Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
Conduct in-flight decision-making with emphasis on risk management, safety, and passenger comfort.
Safety, Security, and Compliance
Maintain operational compliance with company Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Safety Management System (SMS), and all applicable regulatory frameworks.
Ensure airworthiness of the assigned aircraft and coordinate with maintenance control for inspection and corrective actions.
Maintain currency and proficiency in all assigned aircraft types and flight profiles.
Safeguard sensitive passenger information and ensure security of personnel and assets during all flight operations.
VIP and Executive Service Protocols
Uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and protocol when transporting VIP passengers, senior officials, or heads of state.
Coordinate closely with security personnel, executive assistants, and ground handling agents to ensure smooth transitions and timely movements.
Anticipate passenger needs, maintain situational awareness of all mission-related contingencies, and deliver a seamless and dignified travel experience.
Leadership and Representation
Mentor and evaluate First Officers and other flight crew members.
Represent the flight department with professionalism and diplomatic decorum when interfacing with foreign aviation authorities, ground handling services, and host-nation representatives.
Participate in periodic training, safety audits, and operational readiness evaluations.

The selected candidate will support a wide range of test and evaluation requirements to include:
Supporting technical planning meetings, test plan development, test event planning, test procedure and flight card development, flight briefings, post event support, test reporting, and deficiency reporting.
Act as and Air Vehicle Pilot (AVP) and Unmanned Aircraft Commander (UAC) aircraft for MQ-25A flight test operations.
Coordinate and actively participate in UAS ground and flight operations, including mission planning, test flight execution, flight briefing and debriefing, aircrew resource management, risk management, and flight safety reporting.
Prepare for flight operations: Plan, organize, and execute flight plans and schedules, including review of air vehicle configuration, maintenance logs, weather reports, and weather forecasts.
Use Technical Orders, other documents, and aircraft reports to ascertain factors; such as aircraft weight and balance, fueling, route, schedule, and mechanical reliability.
Maintain ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic travel will be required in support of flight test activities

Must be a graduate of a full-length course of instruction from a recognized military test pilot school, e.g. USNTPS, USAFTPS, Empire or EPNER.
Commercial pilot or a UAV Air Vehicle Operator/Pilot (AVO/P) designation by U.S. Armed Forces.
Minimum of 1,500 documented flight hours (manned and/or unmanned).
Large UAS (Group 4-5) AVP experience desired
Five years relevant experience, to include three years of Test Project Officer experience, desired.
Fixed-wing and/or carrier-based flight experience highly desired.

Able to demonstrate effective oral and written communications skills.
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.

The salary range for this role is $165,000-$240,000. (

Position Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Line Pilots to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerial firefighting, specifically in multi-engine long-term retardant application. DHC-8 tactical and low-level experience is highly desirable. They will be responsible for safe, effective, efficient multi mission airtanker operations in a multi-crew environment. AFF Line Pilots report to the Aerial Firefighting Head of Flight Operations.

Assist Aerial Firefighting Head of Flight Operations with ensuring all administrative paperwork, and daily tasks are being completed on time and in accordance with applicable industry FAA standards.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Operate the Gulfstream G200 in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
Conduct pre-flight planning, including weather, fuel, routing, weight & balance, and performance calculations.
Ensure all required documentation, inspections, and certifications are current prior to each flight.
Work closely with the flight crew to ensure seamless coordination and communication during all phases of flight.
Deliver an outstanding client experience with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Participate in recurrent training and maintain all required FAA certifications.
Support flight operations, scheduling, and other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or Director of Operations.
Qualifications
FAA ATP Certificate with appropriate type rating (preferred).
Current and valid First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.

Time in Type (G200 or similar midsize jet): 500 hours preferred

MAAP is seeking qualified applicants with experience in flight operations disciplines relevant to uncrewed/autonomous systems to serve as a supporting pilot of uncrewed aerial system (UAS for Counter-UAS research and testing). Successful applicants will be able to support a diverse array of tasks related to UAS research, with preference given to candidates that have both uncrewed aircraft pilot experience as well as experience operating counter UAS systems.

The UAS Pilot Coordinator must be a self-motivated team player that can take on and effectively execute a broad set of tasks.
The position may receive tasking from the flight operations and engineering team leads and will report to the MAAP Chief of Flight Operations. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound decision-making and problem-solving skills while interacting with internal and external Test Site users and partners. The incumbent should be able to independently and effectively manage UAS field operations in diverse field environments. This position will be expected to lift, carry, move, load/unload equipment and field supplies of up to 25 pounds; possess a safe driving record to drive a government vehicle, ability to work outside in environmental conditions for up to 10 hours, as well as the ability to walk minimum 2 miles and traverse uneven terrain. This position also involves fine manipulation of UAS equipment and parts.
Additional duties that may be assigned to the incumbent (depending upon qualifications) include:

• Regular coordination with internal program managers, operations team, and external stakeholders.
50% Flight Operations Preparation and Execution
• Operates in various UAS crewmember roles including Pilot in Command (PIC), Visual Observer (VO), and Aviation Safety Officer (ASO) in the execution of field studies as dictated by the experiment.
