Job Summary:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) oversees and is directly responsible for the safe and efficient transport of all crew members, patients, and other riders by Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing aircraft during air ambulance operations. The PIC will ensure compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual (GOM) procedures and guidelines before, during, and after all phases of transport. The PIC will ensure that all organizational policies and procedures are followed. The PIC maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for the safe fixed-wing transport of patients and assists in the coordination of their logistical movements.
Essential Job Functions:
Directly responsible for the safe and efficient transport of all crew members, patients, and other riders by Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wing aircraft. Demonstrates ability to function as a member of the flight crew and ensures the safety of the crew, patients, and other passengers during transport. Serves as a safety officer for specialty teams conducting transport of neonatal patients by fixed-wing aircraft. Assists medical crew in the movement of medical equipment and loading/unloading of patients and riders.
Actively assesses flight conditions while on duty and promptly notifies crew and dispatch of any changes in operational status. Identifies the early warning signs of a change in flight or aircraft operational conditions and responds appropriately to continue or abort transport. Assigns or delegates the performance of applicable tasks during operational emergencies to crew members for which that person has the necessary skills and competence to accomplish safely.
Immediately completes shift hand-off report at the aircraft with off coming PIC when first coming on duty.
Completes and documents thorough walk around of aircraft at the start of each shift. Conducts safety and operational briefings with on duty medical crew when coming on shift and anytime there is a change in operational status/ability. Conducts safety and operation briefings with specialty transport team (i.e. NICU Team) prior to conducting a transport. Completes all required documentation as designated during the duty period. Completes and submits all incident reports (operational, safety, staff) prior to the completion of each shift.
Demonstrates ongoing competency in the assigned airframe. Participates in company meetings, ongoing education, checkoffs, and any other training required by regulatory agencies or the organization. Maintains requirements for age specific competencies for the position and demonstrates the knowledge or principles of growth and developments and the skills necessary to provide patient/customer care/services.
Establishes and maintains communication and utilizes educational opportunities with crew and other significant individuals.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

About the Role
Bridger Aerospace is seeking a Pilot-in-Command on Kodiak K-100 operating under Visual and Instrument Flight Rules. You will be required to fly specific assigned flight altitudes within the Fire Traffic Area to assist your government officer with providing aircraft separation over the incident. This role requires you to be away from home on a 11 on/11 off schedule for most of the year (Typically February-November). This position also requires you to be exclusively available to Bridger during a 4-month period (June 1 - October 1). Compulsory spring training typically occurs in early March and lasts approximately 2 weeks. This job requires willingness to perform a multitude of different mission sets, primarily ranging from IFR point to point, cargo, surveillance and mapping on sensor equipped platforms with a crew, as well as Air Attack. Pilots must be prepared to fly at night for our sensor equipped airframes for surveillance and mapping missions. The position reports directly to the specific platform Lead Pilots, the Chief Pilot, and the Director of Operations. Ideal candidates respond well when faced with a quickly changing environment and rely on their excellent judgement to complete the mission safely while following all Federal Aviation Regulations, company procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

Washington Corporations, a leading industrial and heavy equipment company, is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Challenger 300/350 PIC or SIC Pilot to join its Part 91 Flight Department. This role will join four other pilots who currently make up the Challenger team, flying a Challenger 300 and 350. Candidates should have solid knowledge of pilot and flight operations, FAA regulations and the ability to work well in a crew environment. The ideal candidate would have experience in flight planning and managing the safe operation of flights in accordance with aircraft and weather limitations, ensuring aircraft is pre-flighted, inspected, loaded and equipped properly, and ensuring compliance and adaptation with the demands of a flexible flight schedule. Position requires strong communication, flexible work schedule, the ability to travel and conducting oneself in a professional and respectful manner. Pilots are also responsible to work with flight department maintenance personnel, reporting times and conditions of the aircraft after each flight.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Total flight time: 3000 hours preferred
Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1000 hours
Pilot in Command: 1500 hours
Jet or Turbo Prop: 250 hours
Education and Experience:
A Challenger 300/350 type rated pilot is preferred, but not required
Holds a Commercial Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating
Part 91 Corporate Flight experience preferred in a Crew environment
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be customer focused to appropriately interact and communicate with other pilots and passengers.
Possess an FAA First class medical
