Our RoomAttendants are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, corridors and guest related areas are crazy clean and kept up to impeccable Staypineapple standards. They also maintain the cleanliness of service areas, linen closets and employee areas.
What to expect:
Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:
Cleaning public areas and assigned rooms within allotted time according to hotel standards including changing beds, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and guest supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping.
Ensuring that corridors are free of all debris, room service trays, etc.
Ensuring that housekeeping storage rooms and housekeeping closets are secure, neat and clean.
Preventing loss and damage to hotel supplies, property and the guests property by ensuring that guest rooms and carts are secure.
Your experience and qualifications:
One month of related experience preferred.
Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
Proficient at fulfilling requests in a thorough and timely manner.
Ability to learn quickly and take direction.

What You'll Do

Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures.
Replace linens on beds and replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets. Rearrange furnishings, drapes and room accessories.
Provide necessary linen and amenities to guests in accordance with the guest room legend.
Leave rooms in uniform arrangement as determined by the Executive Housekeeper and make sure the door is closed and the room is locked.
Report any damage, hazards, repairs, and strangers in assigned areas.
Return any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a lost and found item. Log the date, where it was found, description of the item and the name of the person who found it.
Clean all corridors and service areas. Respond to any projects or requests developed by the Housekeeping management team.
Responsible for the pass key security and assuring that it is turned in at the close of each shift or according to the specific hotel guidelines.
Restock the cart at the end of your shift and organize the linen closet to prepare for the next day.
Report any exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, no service needed, sleep-outs, guests smoking in rooms, etc. to the on duty supervisor or manager.

* Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. May include cleaning the kitchen area, room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishware, etc.
* Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures.
* When assigned to laundry, monitor laundry supplies and equipment to ensure they are sufficient and in working order. Operate washers and dryers according to hotel standards and manufacturers' guidelines. Receive soiled linens and inspect for damaged or stained items. Fold and store clean linens, report damages to supervisor.
* Minimize waste of supplies and amenities within all areas of housekeeping.
* May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
* Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
* Handle all lost and found items according to established procedures.
* Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
* Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
* Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
* Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
* Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
* Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
* Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
* Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.

**What You'll Do**
As a RoomAttendant with Kimpton, you'll be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
**Some of your responsibilities include:**
+ Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures.
+ Replace linens on beds and replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets. Rearrange furnishings, drapes and room accessories.
+ Provide necessary linen and amenities to guests in accordance with the guest room legend.
+ Leave rooms in uniform arrangement as determined by the Executive Housekeeper and make sure the door is closed and the room is locked.
+ Report any damage, hazards, repairs, and strangers in assigned areas.
+ Return any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a lost and found item. Log the date, where it was found, description of the item and the name of the person who found it.
+ Clean all corridors and service areas. Respond to any projects or requests developed by the Housekeeping management team.
+ Responsible for the pass key security and assuring that it is turned in at the close of each shift or according to the specific hotel guidelines.
+ Restock the cart at the end of your shift and organize the linen closet to prepare for the next day.
+ Report any exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, no service needed, sleep-outs, guests smoking in rooms, etc. to the on duty supervisor or manager.
+ Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
**What You Bring**
+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
+ 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
+ Excellent problem solver with great intuition.
+ You genuinely care for the safety and security of the guests.
