Benefits, get to work on cool projects
They have no training or onboarding system in place. They are fully aware of this but do nothing about it and put pressure on the new employee as well as other employees to figure out training. I was hired on with no experience and was told that it would take a year to settle into the role so I shouldn’t worry about the learning curve. Little did I know that 2 months later after being reassured that I was doing well by my team that I would be let go for “not performing at the level that they expected”. Gee I wonder why? Maybe because I was passed off onto people who are too busy to train new employees.
Health/dental insurance and 401k
They were nice during the hiring process but after that they were virtually non existent. I barely heard from them or saw them
There needs to be more cohesion. Each team and department is very disconnected and has their own individual way of doing things. This makes it hard for new people to come in especially if there is no time for training
Researching the company
I was not paid a ton but received good benefits
Not many people of color. Very white and male dominated
