Maintains DOT files as assigned. Specific Responsibilities The Lease Operator Sr is a first-level supervisor, under the direction and training of the foreman. The Lease Operator Sr is responsible for the coordination and onsite supervision of contractors and service companies during new-well completions and workovers and performs other related assigned duties. * Gauge production on assigned wells, and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district office. * Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; change stuffing boxes, grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc. * Note problems and/or recommend courses of actions to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production. * Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; shoot fluid levels as required and test safety systems daily to maximize daily production. * Assist with downhole pump changes, tubing replacement, etc. on artificially lifted wells; assist with pump and compressor maintenance such as oil changes, obtaining oil sample for analysis, pulling compressor valves, tests and repairs. * Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases for which pumper is responsible. * Conduct other tasks as required by supervisor which are unique to the assigned geographic area. Conduct reservoir engineering evaluations on selected properties to evaluate their potential, predict reservoir performance, optimize future depletion and development plans utilizing reservoir modeling. Such evaluations may include pressure and rate transient analysis, decline curve analysis, nodal analysis, material balance calculations, integrating data available from all disciplines to perform well and reservoir modeling, EOR studies and economic analysis.

Work with geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, and engineers to prepare maps, cross-sections, spreadsheets, powerpoints and other presentation materials for oil & gas prospects. Update project daily for drilling wells daily. Organize log and core data.

Manage field implementation of well completion and workover program. Supervise consultants and coordinate activity with completion engineers and production foreman. Environment is fast paced, with constantly changing priorities. This role will also include: Safety: * Know and adhere to the Minimum Frac Requirement Guidelines as set by EOG management and Safety Personnel, * Ensure all on-site personnel understand and adhere to these requirements, * Ensure the consultants promote and implement these requirements, * Promote a safe work environment by attending and holding occasional tailgate safety meetings, * Stay current on all training and attend monthly safety meetings, * Train new hires and all others to the best practices of safe operations. Specific Responsibilities This entry-level Production Engineer I role provides technical support to Apache's Production Operations group in Midland with a focus on artificial lift. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for technical and administrative tasks in support of the Reservoir Engineering & Planning groups, with an emphasis on process management & data analysis. This includes gathering, verifying, organizing, and analyzing complex datasets, and working with the team to provide actionable recommendations. Specific Responsibilities A Production Engineer Sr - Artificial Lift is a member of the production engineering team that should expect to spend 3-4 days in the field each week. The Production Analyst is responsible for setting up all new wells and equipment, as well as assisting in managing and reporting on complete and accurate oil, gas and water volumes. This position is also responsible for various regulatory filings with the Texas Railroad Commission, New Mexico Oil & Gas, and ONRR. This individual will be a hands-on, motivated, dependable, well- organized results-oriented professional that can interface effectively with revenue accounting, production operations, marketing, and vendors. * Set up new wells and production changes in production accounting system * Analyze and reconcile daily/monthly volumes for gas/oil/water * Prepare monthly volumes to be received by marketing and revenue groups * Maintain and ensure accuracy and data integrity of PROCOUNT production system. * Identify and analyze volume discrepancies, troubleshoot problems and make corrections. * Prepare and submit regulatory filings related to production data * Ensure internal controls are followed and participate in internal and external audits * Assist with the integration of acquisitions and divestitures as it relates to production data * Validate and reconcile oil invoices/statements to daily/monthly run tickets * Validate and reconcile off load systems with sales tickets * Input gas volumes from gas statements/validate and reconcile as needed. * Research and compile production data for engineers, and others as requested. * Work closely with field personnel to ensure timely and proper transmission of production data.
