JOB SUMMARY: The Welder works with the rest of the Construction Department on commercial projects, and is responsible for reviewing drawings, doing lay-out, and assembling pipes accurately and according to production standards, quality requirements, safety requirements, code, design, and specifications. As a full-time member of our field workforce, the Welder will travel to different job sites, going where work is needed in the greater Metropolitan Washington area.
REQUIREMENTS
3 of more years of commercial construction and welding experience.
Able to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed. Hours may involve start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to work with diverse sets of team members and resolve conflict professionally with the assistance of management.
Interface effectively, ethically and professionally with co-workers and clients and subcontractors.
Communicate effectively in English (aural, verbal, and written).
Able to sit, stand, bend, walk, climb, and remain in static positions for duration of shift. This includes use of ladders, potential exposure to confined spaces and heights.
Able to lift five pounds (50 lbs.) without assistance.

Job Summary:
The Commercial Service Plumber provides customer service in the field to maintain, install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in commercial facilities. These systems include piping, fittings, heating fixtures, water distribution and drainage systems.
Responsibilities:
Respond to service calls to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
Diagnose plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and equipment malfunctions, and provide effective solutions.
Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and related equipment as needed.
Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
Complete service reports and other documentation as required.
Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle.
Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years of plumbing service experience.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
Knowledge of plumbing systems and codes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
Basic computer skills.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
