As a pipe layer, you will earn $18 to $22 per hour--or more-- paid weekly . The schedule for this position varies but is typically over 40 hours per week. • Constant physical effort, including extended standing for at least 8 hour shift

Education / Experience:

• On (1) year experience working as pipe layer or laborer, or equivalent experience
• Active Driver’s license

Work Environment:

Regularly works in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and humidity. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. Handles various toxic products such as epoxies, grouts, sealers, paints and cleaners, with exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time skilled trade position as a Residential Gas Pipefitter works a typical schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with weekends and evenings OFF .

In this skilled trade position, you play the essential role of designing and installing gas pipe systems in the homes of our clients. Prior to installation, you lay out pipes and assemble them into systems. Using your knowledge about residential gas pipe systems, you ensure that your designs fit within the desired blueprints and combine with the rest of the building's pipework. Always paying attention to every detail, you understand how each system operates and how to keep things running smoothly.
