    Salary: $27.00 - $30.00 At USA Insulation, the Chemical Batch Operator actively participates in the manufacturing process of our proprietary foam insulation product. You will be a key contributor during the production process and adhere to the production schedule and keep our team informed of manufacturing capabilities as required. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, enforcement of safety protocols and process and fostering a collaborative environment with the General Manager and other production team members. Key Responsibilities: Direct involvement in the manufacturing process alongside the other production team members. Work with the Production Team to achieve daily/weekly goals and uphold quality standards. Monitor batch while in process and closely observe output quality. For batches that you make, you will have responsibility for raw materials, staging of raw materials and packaging finished product for storage and/or distribution. Responsible for inventory of raw materials, pallets, drums, and other necessary equipment and supplies. Work with the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to understand product demand and build materials to meet customer demand Maintain manufactured finished product inventory. Communicate when appropriate action, including shutdown of process is necessary to prevent or limit production. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Assist with maintenance of the production equipment. This can include (but is not limited to) tightening loose fittings as identified, changing filters and screens, identifying leaks, etc. Assist with the general maintenance of the facility. This will include (but not limited to) general housekeeping both inside and outside of the building. Work with the Production Team to receive and put away incoming materials. Work with the Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to ship materials to our customers. Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in manufacturing environment Batch manufacturing is desirable Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Coordinate with field personnel to ensure alignment between control room directives and on-site activities. Respond to alarms and system alerts quickly, troubleshooting and escalating issues as necessary to ensure safety and stability. Your experience: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in process or control room operations (metals, chemical, energy, or manufacturing industry preferred). Familiarity with distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, or SCADA platforms. Strong understanding of process instrumentation, data trends, and alarm management.
