Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Trading Supervisory Risk Control Manager is responsible for executing compliance risk control analysis, data management and solutions for supervision within the equities sales and trading business line. Qualifications
* 7-10 years of relevant experience; prior experience with an institutional broker-dealer desired.
* Bachelors' degree required - Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
* FINRA Series 7, 24, and 4 required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
* Experience with Equity Sales, Trading, and Capital Markets relevant regulations including order handling, execution, and trade reporting requirements (i.e. Reg SHO, NMS, CAT, Rule 606, etc.) and capital markets requirements (i.e. Reg M, FINRA rules 5130/5131, etc.).

Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a senior technical, hands-on specialist to handle the coordination of testing and release process for the Fixed Income pricing and risk modelling libraries and reference data. This is a challenging and high-profile role which spans the end-to-end software development cycle (SDLC) - including managing source code branches, preparing and delivering release candidate builds into testing, and working with QA, IT, trading desk strategists, and production support teams through the test cycle to sign-off, integration into consumer applications, and release. Located in New York, this role is a critical point of contact for desk strategists, technology and QA colleagues in that timezone, maintains continuity of SDLC activities in Follow the Sun model in a global release management team with colleagues in India and London.
The successful candidate will also help with improving our automated build, release, integration and testing infrastructure covering the entire SDLC across several million lines of C++, Java, and Scala source code. This will include configuration of Jenkins jobs, source code management tooling, and supporting trading desk strategists' use of development environment.
Most of the Fixed Income portfolio is valued and risked using these pricing and risk modelling libraries, which are used by many varied applications throughout the firm and have multiple inter-dependencies. This requires that we build the libraries in a consistent manner on multiple different platforms, and integrate them into the varied application landscape, which is itself constantly changing. Our ability to patch, test and release new functionality within hours if not minutes can be critical to our success as a business, and the successful candidate will be critical to helping us achieve this.

Our experienced associate position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play an impactful role on the strategically expanding Healthcare investment banking team, gaining extensive sector expertise and in-depth experience in M&A and capital raising transaction execution. The experienced associate will be intimately involved as a core member of the team in providing strategic and financial advice to many of the most relevant public and private health Equity Research Associate/Intern care companies, having an opportunity to work closely with highly seasoned senior bankers and to develop impactful relationships with clients over time. The experienced associate will, among other responsibilities, prepare strategic and M&A analyses, company valuations, marketing materials for company sale and financing assignments, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The experienced associate will be responsible for executing high-profile transactions, integral to the coverage of the team's most important clients, expected to act as a key contact for some clients, and begin to assume increasing responsibilities for new business development over time. * Minimum 3+ years of investment banking experience
* BA/BS/MS or an advanced degree in life sciences is a plus
* Experience with equity capital markets and M&A transactions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop internal and external relationships
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
* Highly motivated, team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 - $225,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
