They also provide varieties of services to casino players to convert them to regular and loyal customers to the casino. Casino hosts earn a median sum of $51,000 annually or $24 per hour.
Casino hosts primarily ensure that high rollers and VIPs don't gamble in other casinos that compete with their employers. They do this by offering an array of comps, such as free rooms and meals at the casino, that are meant to entice the high rollers to come and gamble. They determine what level of play warrants a complimentary night in the hotel's best suite and which warrants a free buffet.
Casino hosts typically hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Although, some employers may not require an academic degree, opting for prior casino experience instead.
