As need, may represent the business unit before various publics both locally and nationally on medical philosophy, policies, and related issues. Represents the business unit at appropriate state committees and other ad hoc committees. May be required to work weekends and holidays in support of business operations, as needed. Education/Experience: Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy. Utilization Management experience and knowledge of quality accreditation standards preferred. Actively practices medicine. Course work in the areas of Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, and/or Personnel Management is advantageous. Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse population preferred. License/Certifications: Board certification in a medical specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialists or the American Osteopathic Association's Department of Certifying Board Services. Current Illinois state license as a MD or DO without restrictions, limitations, or sanctions from government programs. Must reside in Illinois. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage multiple crews performing vegetation management tasks, including tree trimming, brush clearing, and herbicide application. * Develop and implement daily and weekly work schedules to meet project timelines. * Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. * Monitor work quality through site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications. * Provide hands-on training to crew members on proper techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures. * Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress and challenges. * Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and equipment maintenance records. * Support field operations by assisting with vegetation tasks when needed. * Ensure crews are properly equipped and tools are maintained. * Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Minimum 5 years of experience in powerline construction or utility vegetation management. * At least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. * Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. * Must pass drug, alcohol, and background screenings. * First Aid and CPR certification preferred or must be obtained. * Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, utility layouts, and project plans. * Strong understanding of vegetation management techniques and equipment. Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for both adult and pediatric patients is preferred Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
