Bill is an experienced startup technology finance leader and operations executive with significant global experience overseeing financial operations in high growth companies, both public and private. As the CFO of Pivot3, a pioneer and innovator of hyperconverged technology for the software-defined data center, Bill plays an integral role in the advancement of operational goals and market position for the company's continued growth and success. He has extensive experience overseeing prominent mergers and acquisitions, serving on the board of directors for multiple international joint-ventures, as well as managing finance, purchasing, human resources and information technology functions.

Prior to joining Pivot3, Bill raised in excess of $1 Billion of capital for a renewable energy manufacturing enterprise and lead multi-national global finance, information technology, and purchasing/materials management teams for a tier 1 semiconductor manufacturer. As a proven public markets CFO, he engineered and took to market equity, convertible debt and warrant issuances raising in excess of $4 billion. Bill is a triathlete, automotive enthusiast, and experienced alpine skier and patroller.

He is named on 24 storage related patents and has been actively involved in storage technologies and standards such as SAS, SATA, SCSI, Fibre Channel, and RAID. Prior to Pivot3, Bill was co-founder of BREA Technologies, Inc., a successful private storage technology company. Prior to BREA, he worked for many years at Compaq Computer Corp. as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff where he architected and developed many breakthrough products for storage hardware and software. Bill has over twenty years of product development experience in storage and I/O technology at both public and private companies.

Bruce is a visionary technology executive who brings over 20 years of marketing and products experience to Pivot3 as Chief Marketing Officer. Over the course of his career, he has helped innovative software companies establish their vision and execute their go-to-market strategy. Prior to joining Pivot3, Bruce played an instrumental role in the success of companies such as Socialware, Hyperformix, and OpenText (formerly Vignette). An avid outdoorsman, Bruce volunteers as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, which provides him the opportunity to pursue his interests in boating, sailing and camping while giving something back to the community.
