If there are a lot of toppings, why not cook it for longer? The onus of that correction is on the cook, not the customer

Former Hut worker here. If you place a future order to pick up later, the system stores that order until 15 minutes before. It then pops up on the kitchen system to make. Assuming an average worker will take 3 minutes to make the pizza, and the cook time is around 7 minutes, your pizza will sit in the warmer for 5 minutes. That is, if you are on time. If you can make it in about 5 minutes before scheduled pickup, you will usually catch it as it is being boxed up. Not always, though, especially late night. Sometimes, cleaning the store for close will come before making your pizza.

It depends on the employee's job. Generally, everyone does, but like servers, because they interact with customers more, have more intensive customer service training. Really, it just depends on the store and the management because in all reality, we all get the same training vids from corporate. So, there's no excuse for someone to be ***. I mean, I hate my job, but I try to give the best experience for people because THAT IS my job. I honestly don't have a great explanation because I try not to judge others. Have you tried to file a complaint?

It's okay, just what you expect as a job. Managers vary so it might not be the same experience as me. It's all relative. I think that pizza hut has a big reputation for it's food. Customer service is satisfactory. I think the best thing is the delivery and the phone service.

Rather tedious routine. Mundane tasks, serving, and answering phone. I think entering data into the register and computer is boring but it is okay as I can talk to people. It's good to work as a team. I don't like when there are employees slacking off.

Pizza leftovers, discounts, employee benefits. It's great to be able to bring home some leftovers. I think that the discount is reasonable and I can order anything off the menu for a fraction of the price. It's nice to have holiday too

I've work at Pizza Hut for about six months, but I had family in management before and helped them out a lot with the restaurant. Best perks? ~*discount wiiiiiiiiiings*~ Also, I suppose a perk is the "points" you get as an employee. Every month if your store is "gold star" you get points to your account, like arcade tickets, and you can cash them in for a variety of (pretty lame) prizes like Pizza Hut cups, jackets, backpacks, etc. I think the biggest prize on the list in like a paid day off, but you have to work for like a year to even achieve that.

In my experience Pizza Hut was a fast paced and fast money kind of job

The representation at Pizza Hut is actually very good and diverse

When people who really need the food finally receive the correct order after having to go through a long process and seeing the joy of them getting the box

My favorite benefit working there was all the extra money I made from just being me and talking to people.Giving them their food exactly how that ordered in a timely manner.

No rules or standards,no hairnets hats or beard nets way too much loose hair, people generally do what they want. We don't have management that cares about temperatures dates of product or fifo. People are trained improperly usually by said manager including GM. Seen so many products go out incorrectly sometimes by management. It's okay for some to not do their job it is laughed off.

I cant say his name but he was fired. He whined ahout not getting tips (we didnt share tips because he was a lazy *** who made dozens of mistakes) plus he always talked about his old job, like 30x a day. Nobody likes to hear about how your old job did this and that.

Seeing peoples reactions to what i make. I often dont see it because im in the back making pizza, but i once saw a customer dining with their kids and they were all enjoying it. Thats a good feeling.

At our store, 0% of employees jerk off into the cheese of a stuffed crust. Mainly because you can see directly into the kitchen to the make table and oven. I can't speak for other stores, but I don't think this is likely lol.

In subcultures where pizza is not a huge thing, yes. Like, I used to live in New York where pizza is an actual thing, and small mom and pop pizza shops flourish. In places like that, Pizza Hut doesn't get a whole lot of business. However, I live in the South right now, and there's like zero pizza culture here. So, Pizza Hut and Domino's are big things. It just depends where you go, tbh.

Actually, at least at our store, it doesn't happen often, but the other week someone did ask us to write Netflix recommendations on the inside of the pizza box. The employees had so much fun with that! We had something from every genre you could think of.

"Unhealthy"? Anything with cheese, and because it's a pizza place, people get fried cheese, extra cheese on pizza, cheese sticks, and cheese on their salad. It makes me gag. Most rotten and gross thing? LETTUCE AND ROMAINE. Those go bad so easily, and then they just rot over everything else in the box. But I did see some cherry tomatoes in the cooler yesterday just covered in black ***..

Yes!! It was very difficult to learn, and even now, six months later I still can't find some things! And most times, they don't even take away the old products right away. So the screen gets crowded.

Not that I've seen. I think, at least in our store, no matter how rude and disgusting a customer is, messing with someone's food is just beyond unacceptable.. now matter how hard I wish to spit in your drink..

I don't order pizza from Pizza Hut, but if I did, it would probably be mushrooms, chicken, and spinach with a balsamic drizzle. That would be ***.. And YES! If we see a gross order, most times the employees will joke and laugh or gag. Like, (for some reason?) some customers like their cheese sticks cooked less so the cheese won't be browned, but like it's bread so you're eating dough?? That is so gross..

Came in with a 20 person party without calling or anything. We had no silverware ready or anything like that. They then proceeded to be upset and mad because we weren't prepared. ALSO, this group of people that come to dine-in at 9:45pm even though we close at 10pm. They literally do this every week, and we can't turn them away because it's company policy.
