3rd SHIFT OPENING - SUN - THURS. 10 PM - 6 AM. TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, VERY SAFE AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.
The Operator is responsible for preparation, set-up, start and running manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the Production Shift Leader. Accountabilities also include ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations.
Essential Accountabilities
Machine operation
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification.
Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption.
Machine readiness - inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up.
Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution.
Quality
Ensure part quality meets established standards.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Communication
Complete all shift documentation/paperwork.
Shift hand-off - go over job status and updates with incoming shift.
Safety
Participate in safety programs.
Follow all established safety procedures.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year manufacturing or related experience;
Mechanical aptitude;
Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements.

General Position Summary
The Merchandise Planner is responsible for building financial sales, gross margin, and inventory plans for both pre-season and in-season time periods. Partner with Buying & Merchandising group to create & deliver local assortment strategies maximizing sales and profits. Completes all company and departmental paperwork accurately, including Price Change Bulletins, Operation Actions, Red Tags, and Bin Tags.
Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking paperwork against items received when required, and replenishes stock when necessary.
Displays and maintains merchandise on end caps, shelves, counters or tables following company plan-o-gram, building displays when necessary to attract customers and promote sales within specified guidelines by your management team.
Maintains on-hand integrity through inventory adjustment reports including; cycle count, negative on-hand.
Follows the nightly maintenance checklist to ensure proper store recovery and cleanliness.
Maintains familiarity with new products and ad merchandise.
Has sound awareness of surroundings, customers, etc. and practices loss prevention techniques to minimize shoplifting losses.
Working knowledge of the tools available to operate the store; including, but not limited to: RF Gun, Back Office Procedures and the use of Store Opportunities.

Merchandising - Stock should be organized and merchandised appropriately to corporate guidelines with proper flagging and pricing. Rain checks provided and followed up on according to corporate guidelines.

Store Appearance - Create and maintain a clean, safe and presentable shopping experience with a favorable impression to our customers, neighbors, and associates. Must be able to communicate effectively, and work with colleagues and customers effectively and professionally.
