The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for rendering professional nursing care across the wellness-illness continuum for the comfort and well-being of healthy retired Sisters and those Sisters in the acute, chronic, and terminal phases of illness. The RN is expected to utilize knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and age-related differences when providing or delegating care. Be a good steward of Boys and Girls Country resources. · Ensures that all roofs are clear of debris. · Ensures that gutters are clean and functional. · Responsible to maintain all hedges, playgrounds, and flowerbeds on campus. · Ensures that exterior of all buildings are in good repair and clean. · Responsible to help keep the Operations Center clean and in good running order. · Ensures that all maintenance equipment is in good working order; may perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment when required. · Responsible for trimming all trees annually or more often if needed. · Responsible for working closely with the Chief Operations and Facilities Officer, Operations Manager, and all staff to provide necessary assistance and direction in keeping the overall facilities of Boys and Girls Country in good repair. · Assist the Operations Team with the timely pickup of donated good. · Support other members of the team in carrying out organizational goals and activities. · Performs other duties as assigned by Chief Operations and Facilities Officer, Operations Manager, and the Maintenance Manager. Qualifications: · Must be cleared through a criminal background and FBI finger print investigation. · Must be cleared through a drug test panel. · All staff who have contact with students must be tested for tuberculosis before the staff is assigned a responsibility to care for students · Must attend Boys and Girls Country orientation and pre-service training. · Must be self-motivated and willing to try new task. · Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs · Must be a high school or vocational school graduate · Must be a cooperative team member. · Must display a positive attitude and show support of Boys and Girls Country mission and values at all times. Reports to:Jennifer Cross Uherek, LCSW, Clinical Director of Community Counseling Summary of Responsibilities: At Community Counseling, our licensed counselors are committed to providing comprehensive services to our community. We walk alongside our clients so they can experience the fullness of life through the balance of mind, body and spirit. We are seeking a licensed clinician who specializes in treating adolescent and adult populations. This person will possess the skills required to assess, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders in adolescents and adults, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, coordinate care with the families of adolescents as required, communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, and speak before large groups. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide individual, couples, family and group therapy services to adolescents and adults. Develop and lead counseling groups with adolescents and adults, as needed. Cooperate with the counseling team to facilitate a safe environment for client recovery. Ensure documentation in the clinical record complies with standards. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standards. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and clinic matters and refer questionable issues to your supervisor. Coordinate care with client families, and other medical professionals. Develop and implement community programs that address mental health needs of adolescents, adults and families Maintain familiarity with community resources and make referrals for clients as needed. Qualifications: Education, Licensure, and Experience Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy (Required). Valid Texas license (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LBSW, LMSW,LMFT, or LMFT-Associate) (Required). Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of counseling experience with adolescents, adults, couples (Required). Training in suicide prevention or crisis intervention (Required). Experience providing virtual services (Preferred). Fluent in English and Spanish (Required). Additional Qualifications Possess good oral and written communication skills.
