Robbie Schingler is an entrepreneur in San Francisco, CA. Perviously, Robbie was the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chieft Technologist at NASA Headquarters where he helped to incubate the office and start the Space Technology program.. Prior to this position, Robbie was NASA's lead for Open Government at NASA responding to the President's Open Government Directive.

Prior to returning to NASA Headquarters in January 2010, Robbie was an Engineering Project Manager in the Office of the Center Director at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) where he focused on non-traditional partnerships and new ventures for NASA. Robbie worked in the Small Spacecraft Division helping to bring small spacecraft partners and flight projects into NASA Ames, and most recently was the Capture Lead for the NASA Small Explorer Program (SMEX) proposed mission called the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS).

Robbie is one of the co-founders of the NASA CoLab project in 2006, and is an active participant in creating public participation and open innovation at NASA. Previously, he has worked at NASA in three different positions: program and policy analysis in the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, research scientist in nano technology at ARC, and as a student scientist in cosmochemistry at ARC. Robbie has also worked as an independent consultant for space security research and as a mechanical engineer and project manager at an engineering consulting firm. Robbie is a 2005 Presidential Management Fellow and holds bachelor's and two master's degrees from Santa Clara University, the International Space University, and Georgetown University in Engineering Physics with and emphasis in Aeronautics and Astronautics, Space Studies, and Business Administration with a Certificate in International Business Diplomacy, respectively.

Ashley Fieglein Johnson is Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Planet. She is an expert in corporate strategy, business development and finance, and she has extensive experience building and leading executive teams in the technology space. Prior to joining Planet, Ashley was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Wealthfront, a next-generation banking service that helps young professionals manage their savings. She is multilingual, including fluency in Spanish and German, proficiency in Japanese and French and beginner Swedish. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master in International Policy from Stanford University.

Charlie Candy is Planet’s Chief Revenue Officer. He is an experienced Sales & Strategy Leader with a demonstrated history of building high performing geographically dispersed teams, driving change, and delivering results. Before operating as Planet’s Chief Revenue Officer, Charlie ran sales for Planet across the EMEA region. Prior to joining Planet, he led Global GTM Strategy for Design at Autodesk, responsible for four major business lines within Manufacturing. Charlie has a proven track record in people leadership, sales, strategy, channel development, and Software as a Service (SaaS). He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Oxford Brookes Business School.

Kristi is Planet's Chief People Officer, where she is responsible for shepherding our team through rapid growth, while continuing our commitment to meaningful progress on equality and inclusion. Kristi accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience partnering with C-level executives to integrate people, process, organizational and culture strategies to solve complex problems, ignite growth and enable their people to thrive. Prior to joining Planet, Kristi was a global HR leader at Accenture and held a variety of increasingly senior leadership roles. As the Executive Director of HR for Accenture’s Global Systems Integration & Technology business, she led the creation of the global Solutions workforce; including defining recruitment profiles, career level framework, performance management and rewards. Outside of her experience at Accenture, Kristi has held Chief People Officer roles at ServiceSource, Uplift Education and Bazaarvoice. She has comprehensive experience building and leading world-class teams through periods of hyper-growth. She is an advocate and driver of inclusivity and equity in the workforce.

Robert is Chief Strategist and Chairman of the Board at Planet Federal where he is responsible for supporting strategic decision-making for future products and services, driving meaningful partnerships, and increasing the utility of commercial innovations for global government agencies. Robert has a distinguished career as former Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) from 2014-2019, where he successfully transformed the Agency’s future value proposition through innovative partnerships with the growing commercial geospatial marketplace. Prior to NGA, Robert served in leadership positions with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. From 2010 to 2014, Robert managed, edited, and delivered the President’s Daily Brief to President Obama and Vice President Biden - over 1400 editions - while also serving on the Deputies Committee of the National Security Council.
