About the Role:
We are seeking a mission driven, execution focused Collection and Capacity Product Manager within our Enabling Service, Imagery Products team. This team is a critical group within our Imagery Collection and Production function. This group is responsible for the core systems and processes that enable our satellite imagery products-from customer tasking and feasibility to image capture and processing.

Collection and Capacity Product Manager owns the orchestration for satellite collection and determines capacity for tasking missions and coverage for monitoring missions. Impact You'll Own:
Optimize and drive efficiency in collection logic across all missions to guarantee alignment with and fulfillment of customer demand
Maximize overall system capacity and collection throughput across all missions to scale the product offering
Define and own the core scheduling logic with Missions, including prioritization rules, retry mechanisms, and deconfliction logic in the scheduling systems

What You Bring:
6+ years of product management experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience in capacity forecast demand, and the ability to handle dynamic capacity utilization (for example, transportation or logistics workflows)
Experience evaluating algorithms and models (such as mathematical programming and heuristics) that automate complex scheduling decisions; what to collect, where to aim, and when to execute to minimize operational cost and maximize order fulfillment

About the Role:
Our team is in charge of planning the tasks and imagery acquisitions of Earth observation satellites. We do so with a small team of highly-skilled engineers from our offices in SF and Berlin and we are currently looking for a highly motivated and proactive Satellite Tasking Engineer to join our operations team.
Your mission will be to support day-to-day operations, which includes collection performance analysis, order monitoring, performing feasibility studies and the development of our operational tools.

Close Alignment with Finance: Work on a day-to-day basis for data collection, reporting, analysis and dashboards.

Lead Cost Estimation & Modeling:
* Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate and reliable cost estimates for key projects.
* Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to model product and production costs across development stages (e.g., Bill of Materials (BOM), tooling, labor, overhead).
* Translate engineering and production plans into financially rigorous build and ramp scenarios, identifying financial risks and reallocation opportunities.
Cost Control & Financial Strategy:
* Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of cost control measures throughout the lifecycle of projects.
* Drive marginal cost analysis and margin forecasts for new and existing products.
* Drive cost-down roadmaps in collaboration with Design, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, identifying levers to improve unit economics.

What You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

* Solid foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management (PLM), and cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).

Planet is working on the next generation small satellite bus that will host a high resolution optical imaging payload (Pelican) and a hyperspectral payload (Carbon Mapper). Our system consists of transceivers in several bands, as well as a worldwide network of ground stations.
We are seeking an experienced RF and Microwave Engineer to develop our next-generation onboard, ground radios and antenna systems that push the frontiers of satellite communications. You will make evolutionary and revolutionary improvements in their performance, reliability, and cost, including the architecture, design and test of next-generation S-band through Ka-band radios and a variety of antennas, as well as work with vendors on various design projects. You will be responsible for PCB layout projects and interface with cross functional teams - electrical, software and mechanical engineers to address challenging design issues. You will conduct environmental and EMC testing on communication subsystems and get them ready for flight. You will work closely with systems engineering, missions, and manufacturing teams to ensure mission success.

About the Role:
As a Senior Security Engineer, Embedded Software in Planet's Satellite Security Team (SatSec) you will work on a variety of projects and tasks to secure Planet's space-related systems. The SatSec team's mission is to secure Planet's space related systems to enable Planet's earth imaging and data solutions mission.
You will work with other members of the SatSec and Space Systems Engineering teams, especially Flight Software, the FPGA and Mission software teams, as well as Manufacturing and Mission Operations. You will do some development of software security tools and automation, security review of software, and maintenance of systems critical to the SatSec team's mission. You will work on some projects on your own, and others in collaboration with development and operational teams to ensure the systems satisfy the security and operational goals. The position has a practical security focus.
The ideal candidate is someone with embedded software development experience, together with some security experience who now wants to make security the focus, while doing software development, security design, security code review, as well as other operational responsibilities.
This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our San Francisco HQ 3 days per week.
Impact You'll Own:
* Developing small software security tools
* Security focused code review of satellite and ground based software (using team's review guidelines)
* Review of / writing automation to review security test results
* Security design reviews (once are familiar with the satellite system)
* Setup and testing launch racks or lab equipment
* Running PEN tests
* Maintaining systems critical to the SatSec team's mission, such as Hardware Security Modules
* Network traffic analysis
* Assisting with some corporate systems as needed

About the Role:
At Planet, we launch spacecrafts early and often. From technology demonstrators to operational constellations, exceptional engineers are needed to design, manufacture, test and launch spacecrafts.
As a Mechanical GSE engineer, you will join a small team of dedicated engineers playing a key role in the advent of several platforms. Focused on the upbringing of our payloads and buses, you will work closely with our qualification engineers and our electro-optics engineers in developing their Ground Support Equipment, from design and analysis to assembly and test. You will also have opportunities to lead derisk activities related to environmental and mechanical stress. The ideal candidate has a technical understanding of mechanical and optical basic principles applied to aerospace, is curious and creative and wants to be involved with hardware and problems solving. To be successful in this role, the candidate should enjoy hands-on work, thrive in ambiguity, and be able to lead their own projects into completion. Coming from a fast paced, aerospace environment, having completed difficult projects while collaborating effectively with other key teams, will be a plus.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in our San Francisco office 5 days per week.
Impact You'll Own:
Design and validate test fixtures and Ground Support Equipment (GSE):
* Understand needs and requirements for satellite sub-systems, especially optical payloads.
* Create, develop and test innovative mechanical solutions and testing methods.
* Use 3D CAD software to model test fixtures and GSE equipment. Run structural FEA. Populate 2D drawings GD&T compliant.
* Supervise and assist with procurement, machining, assembly and proofloading operations.
* Perform hands-on operations like GSE and instrumentation setup, etc.
Implement continuous improvement and process development:
* Own GSE design through its lifetime to support failures identification, anomalies, root causes investigations, and drive issues to resolution.
* Assist in analyzing and reviewing data using numerical data analysis tools to interpret test results and ensure that the hardware operates as expected. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Document and develop communication:
* Keep detailed notes of tests, specimens and anomalies. Report test results, providing recommendations for design modifications or improvements.
* Produce design documentation to communicate design intent, usability, operations, and maintenance of new products to internal customers.
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Opto-mechanics Engineering or Electro-Mechanics/Robotics Engineering.
* 4+ years of relevant work experience.
* Creation of successful Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or related structural designs.
* Understanding of mechanical engineering first principles and practical application of theoretical methods.
* Ability to solve complex problems related to modeling, analysis, and verification.
* Familiarity with best practices for designing robust mechanical solutions as well as notions of designing for manufacturing using Solidworks CAD or equivalent. Proficiency in creating engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Proficiency in structural static stress analysis for multi-body systems, including modal analysis. Familiarity with FEA software, like Solidworks Simulation, Ansys or equivalent.
* Understanding of material properties, force definitions, boundary conditions, mesh analysis, and FEA verification techniques.
* Data analysis skills for evaluating system performance and identifying anomalies.
* Proficiency in developing test procedures, as well as general manufacturing workflows.
* Interest in prototyping, rapid iteration and agile processes. Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining and assembly practices.
* Ability to be hands-on, bringing your projects all the way to assembly and test.
* Occasional travel should be expected as part of testing and integration operations.

OVERVIEW
PlayStation is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead brand and live service marketing efforts across multiple high-profile game franchises. This role is responsible for developing and executing global go-to-market strategies in partnership with development studios, supporting both brand and live service marketing for current and upcoming AAA titles.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy - Drive the global marketing strategy and annual marketing plans
Budgeting - Financial responsibility for marketing strategies, initiatives and advertising related efforts.
Studio Partnership - Partner with studio leadership to deliver on overall business goals for each game
Develop best-in-class marketing strategy, including direct to consumer, always-on, content strategy for Games as a Service.
Create and drive approval of promotional and growth plans to deliver on business performance, player acquisition & engagement targets across our portfolio
Define global brand and product strategy, including positioning, unique selling points, and go-to-market approach based on strategic target audiences, market, and player insights.
Distill large volumes of consumer feedback into tangible and actionable insight that the studio team can use to optimize player experience, strategy & execution throughout the season.
Ensure consistent representation of brands' global activations while overseeing tactical execution on global campaigns for multiple titles.
Manage internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver key marketing and creative assets and programs while ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders
REQUISITES
Demonstrated success in developing high-impact global consumer strategies, mass-market campaigns, brand marketing, and direct-to-consumer performance marketing across console ecosystems, PC storefronts, and emerging digital channels.
Proven expertise in the planning, execution, and leadership of business plans
Track record of developing strong partnerships with game development studios
Must have broad experience and understanding of all facets of the marketing discipline including consumer insights, product positioning, consumer promotions, online innovation and creative development
Ability of influencing and engaging external and internal stakeholders in a franchise brand vision
RELATED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
8+ years of video game product marketing experience, with a focus on live services and AAA game marketing
