Responsibilities
Work in the Neuro ICU within an acute care hospital setting
32-bed Neuro ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
Patient caseload includes critical neuro cases such as craniotomies, brain tumor removals, ablations, brain biopsies, and complex spine surgeries
Utilizes Cerner EMR and Phillips monitors for telemetry
12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), with 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks and 2 out of 4 major holidays required
Must float between all ICU and Telemetry units, with a 4:1 patient ratio on Tele when floated
May be placed on standby for scheduled shifts
Two shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
Must wear scrubs in any color or print (steel grey required for neuro floors)
Charge nurse is available and does not take patients
Interdisciplinary support available with 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory therapy coverage
Travel teams must have their own vehicles
Natural hair color and no facial piercings required; men must be clean shaven for fit testing
Holiday shifts are scheduled as part of the staff rotation
Candidates cannot have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year in any capacity except through outside PRN agencies

Responsibilities
Position is in a Neuro ICU within an acute hospital setting and Level 1 trauma center
32-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), 4 weekend shifts required per 4 weeks, and holidays per unit coverage rotation
Patient population includes critical neuro patients, cranial surgeries, brain tumor removals, ablations, brain biopsies, and complex spine surgeries
Uses Cerner EMR and Phillips monitoring equipment
Required to float to all ICU floors and telemetry units with a 4:1 patient load on tele; travelers are first to float
24/7 Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy support available
Required participation in SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing change skills on orientation
Floor-specific orientation provided (2 shifts)
May be placed on standby for scheduled shifts
Provide comprehensive neurocritical care and monitor complex neurological conditions in critically ill patients
Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with dedicated charge nurses, RT, and pharmacy support
Proficiency maintaining sterile field is essential; breaking sterile field during SIMs Lab is grounds for dismissal
Scrub attire must be non-offensive in any color or print, with steel grey required on neuro floors
Mandatory completion of lifts, restraints, and wound care education modules during orientation
Must present with natural hair color and no facial piercings; men must be clean shaven for fit testing
First-time travelers are not eligible; previous travel experience is required
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in facilities with 450+ beds
Level 1 trauma experience and prior travel assignment experience (3-6 months) required
Strong neuro assessment and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring skills and EVD experience required
Must pass Dysrhythmia (DYS) exam prior to offer (2 attempts allowed)
Must pass a SIMs Lab sterile technique evaluation for Foley catheter and central line dressing changes on Day 1 of orientation
Must reside a minimum of 50 miles from the facility per radius rule (driver's license required for verification)
Candidates may not have held direct employment (full time, part time, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit facility in the past year

Responsibilities
Work in an acute care setting with assignment to Telemetry Float Pool, covering all Telemetry, MedSurg, and related holding areas
Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses, with notification 1.5 hours before shift; occasional mid-shift floating possible
Patients include adults with telemetry, post-cath lab, post-vascular procedures, neuro surgery, general MedSurg, ortho, surgical and oncology cases (no pediatrics)
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3-4 on Tele/Neuro units, 1:4 on MedSurg units
12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) with four weekend shifts per schedule; must work two of three major holidays
Centralized telemetry monitoring; RNs required to interpret EKGs; must be able to titrate cardiac drips
No vents; RT and pharmacy support available 24/7; hospitalist or intensivist on call
EMR system: Cerner; experience preferred but not required

48-bed unit including 10 epilepsy specialty rooms, caring for epilepsy, brain tumor, subdural hematoma, scoliosis surgery, TBI, and neurological diagnosis patients
Patient ratios are 1:4 for both days and nights
Requires telemetry and some Med/Surg care; BiPAP managed by RT
12-hour night shifts, with a weekend requirement of 3 shifts every 4 weeks and participation in holiday rotation
Staffing includes charge RN (no assignment), resource RN, PCTs, and 24/7 RT and pharmacy support
Floating may be required to Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Uses Cerner EMR and experience is preferred

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position, requiring AZ or Compact RN licensure and strong cardiac drip titration skills.
Responsibilities
Work in the Telemetry Float Pool within an acute care hospital setting
Float between all Telemetry and MedSurg units, with possible assignments in ICU, Cardiac Tele, observation, Cath Lab, ER, and both Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
Float assignments notified 1.5 hours prior to shift start, with rare mid-shift floats between campuses (9 miles apart)
Patient populations include post-cath lab, vascular procedures, neuro post-surgical, surgical, orthopedic, oncology, and general MedSurg, ages 15 and older
Typical patient ratios are 1:3-4 for Tele and 1:4 for MedSurg, with support from PCTs and charge nurses who do not take patients
12-hour night shifts, 7pm-7am, with a requirement to work four weekend shifts per schedule and two of three major holidays
Use of Cerner EMR and centralized telemetry monitoring; GE Monitors on some MedSurg units
Floor-specific orientation includes 2 days per unit
Care for a variety of cardiac, neuro, surgical, orthopedic, and oncology patients
Must float as first priority and may float to lower acuity units and a range of holding areas
Majority of duties include titrating specific cardiac medications, post-surgical care, and monitoring telemetry patients
Must wear navy scrubs
Team structure includes charge nurses without patient assignments, Clinical Supervisors, and PCTs
Relias dysrhythmia exam and Sim Lab are pass/fail and mandatory for continued employment
No pediatrics; patient care is for ages 15 and older
Must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the last year
COVID and Flu vaccination requirements may apply
Requirements
Active AZ or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in telemetry or related acute care setting required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Ability to titrate cardiac drips required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (maximum 2 attempts)
Pass/fail Sim Lab on first day of orientation is required
Ability to interpret EKGs is required
Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Two references required: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position involving Level I trauma care and night shifts.
Responsibilities
Work in a 24-bed Cardiovascular ICU (Coronary Care Unit) within an acute care hospital setting
Patient population includes cardiac surgery recovery, lung and thoracic transplant, Empellas, IABP, CRRT, ECMO, and other high-acuity cases
High patient acuity with frequent 1:1 and 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
Utilizes Phillips telemetry and Cerner EMR
Required to float to other ICUs, all Tele units (ratio up to 4:1 on tele), and to alternate campuses as needed
Intensivist coverage during the day and on call at night
Work schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) with at least 3 weekend shifts every 4-week schedule and holiday rotation
Scrub color is navy
Primary duties include managing complex cardiovascular patients post-surgery and performing frequent bedside procedures
No second interview required; initial clinical prescreening conducted
Expect a two-day floor orientation and 12 hours of general orientation
Travelers are prioritized to float before permanent staff
Holiday shifts are based on unit needs and built into the rotation
Must pass additional educational modules on lifts, restraints, and wound care as part of orientation
Pharmacy and respiratory therapy available 24/7
Candidates failing the SIMs Lab or dysrhythmia exam after two attempts will not be eligible for positions in the system for six months
First-time travelers are accepted if all skill and test requirements are met
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience with Level I trauma experience required
ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCRN preferred
Must pass a dysrhythmia (Relias) exam prior to offer (two attempts allowed)
Must pass SIMs Lab skill assessment on day one for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Strong IV skills required as there is no dedicated IV team
Must not have been employed by the hospital's system (CommonSpirit, CHI, Dignity) in the past year
Must meet a 50-mile radius requirement from the facility for eligibility
Professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years
Must submit a copy of driver's license for consideration
Natural hair color and no facial piercings permitted; men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
