Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Missouri requiring a MO or compact RN license, with a focus on critical care and trauma experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0700
Patient population includes CTS and neuro cases
Floats to Stepdown/PCU units as needed
Required to work every third weekend
Must provide major and minor holiday coverage
Must be nicotine-free to be eligible for hire
Structured orientation program provided during the first week
Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate except at the Great Bend campus
Team members may be subject to push back or cancellation depending on census
Requirements
Active MO or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
Experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center preferred
Experience with cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) and neuro ICU patients preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
TNCC certification preferred
New graduates will not be considered

Responsibilities
Work in a Med/Surg inpatient unit
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week assignment duration
Blocked scheduling may be available based on facility needs
Requested time off up to 5 days is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be subject to restrictions and alternate contract terms
Subcontractor staff living within 50 miles may complete up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before needing a 1-year separation or transferring to another facility outside the radius
Requirements
Active MO or compact RN license at the time of consideration
Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
