Work in a 32-bed Neuro ICU within an acute care, Level 1 Trauma hospital setting
Care for critical patients with neurological diagnoses including cranial surgeries, brain tumor removals, ablations, brain biopsies, and complex spine surgeries
Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2 in ICU; floating to Tele units may require management of up to 4:1 patient ratio
Uses Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry monitors; ventilator care required
Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), including 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks and coverage for 2 of the 4 major holidays
Floating required between all ICU and Telemetry units, with travelers prioritized for float assignments
Two-shift unit-based orientation provided
Responsibilities include managing patients post complex neurosurgery and providing neurocritical care
Will complete SIMs Lab for Foley insertion and, except for NyICU assignments, central line dressing changes; pass/fail testing on maintaining sterile field during orientation

Rotating holiday coverage based on unit needs
Uses Cerner and Xper EMR systems; experience preferred
Works with Philips and Siemens equipment and telemetry
Charge nurse and techs (rad techs, nurse aides) provide support in circulation and endovascular procedures
Responsibilities include circulating for a variety of cardiac and vascular cath lab cases
Works closely with rad techs and a supportive multi-disciplinary team, with access to pharmacy and RT 24/7
Scrubs are provided by the facility
Comprehensive two-day unit-specific orientation provided
Candidates may not have been directly employed by related health systems (CommonSpirit, CHI, Dignity) within the last year
First-time travelers will be considered

A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!! There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Acute Epilepsy Monitoring position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and an AZ or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in the Neuro Acute Epilepsy Monitoring unit within an acute care hospital setting
48-bed unit including 10 epilepsy specialty rooms, caring for epilepsy, brain tumor, subdural hematoma, scoliosis surgery, TBI, and neurological diagnosis patients
Patient ratios are 1:4 for both days and nights
Requires telemetry and some Med/Surg care; BiPAP managed by RT
12-hour night shifts, with a weekend requirement of 3 shifts every 4 weeks and participation in holiday rotation
Staffing includes charge RN (no assignment), resource RN, PCTs, and 24/7 RT and pharmacy support
Floating may be required to Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Uses Cerner EMR and experience is preferred
Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking, assessment, and the ability to detect subtle patient changes
Training provided to assess cranial nerves and utilize self-releasing velcro seat belts
First day orientation includes simulation lab and floor-based orientation shifts
SIMs Lab is strictly pass/fail and includes maintaining sterile field during procedures
Men must be clean shaven for fit testing, and all staff must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
Required to wear Greys Anatomy steel-colored scrubs
Holiday coverage is assigned per unit needs
Travelers must have their own vehicle for transportation
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 2 years of RN experience and recent Level 1 trauma experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to offer, with up to 2 attempts
Must successfully complete a pass/fail SIMs Lab covering sterile Foley insertion and central line dressing changes on day 1 of orientation
Driver's license must show permanent residence at least 50 miles from facility
Two professional references, including one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, required for consideration
Cannot have been directly employed by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year

Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level 4 neonatal ICU night shift position, requiring an AZ or compact RN license and advanced neonatal certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within an acute care hospital setting
71-bed NICU with 17 stepdown beds and common populations including premature, surgical, cardiac, genetic disorder, ECMO, and cooling cases
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2 in the ICU and 1:3 in Level 2
Shifts are 12-hour nights (7p-7a) with every 3rd weekend required
Care is supported by 24/7 in-house neonatologists, midlevels, RT, and pharmacy
Uses Cerner EMR; experience required
Phillips telemetry is utilized
Floating may be required to Mother Baby or Labor Care units for neonatal patients only
On-unit orientation is 2-3 days; includes SIMs Lab competency for Foley insertion
RNs are expected to maintain sterile field competency and complete skills labs and educational modules on lifts, restraints, and wound care
Charge nurse and high-risk RN resource available with no patient assignment
One PCT per shift supports the unit
Scrub color requirement is navy
Must work 3 out of 6 major holidays during assignment
Returning candidates cannot have been directly employed (FT, PT, PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
A permanent residence outside a specific mile radius may be required based on state
First day SIMs Lab and ongoing proficiency testing are strictly enforced
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of application
Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required; will consider busy Level 3 experience
BLS and NRP certifications required; Cardiac STABLE certification strongly preferred
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam (Relias) prior to employment; 80% passing score, two attempts allowed
Must pass a sterile technique SIMs lab for Foley catheter insertion on first day
Prior travel nurse experience preferred
Proficiency in Cerner EMR required
Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
