We are hiring for an RN Clinical Manager for our home care agency in Kingston, NY. This position is full time salaried. This position is responsible for the clinical operations and work flow of the agency including performance of and/or oversight of crucial activities including scheduling, staffing, intake, physician communications, billing and reimbursement process, and overall compliance. Manages, supervises and ensures high quality cost-effective patient care and services. This includes overseeing: referral coordination, assuring that patient needs are continually assessed and coordinated, and assuring the development, implementation, adherence and updates of the patient's individualized plan of care. Ensures coordination with physician, family, and other clinicians involved in care as appropriate. Communicates effectively with staff to ensure they are informed and educated through staff orientation, case conferences, mandatory in-services, including but not limited to monthly staff/safety meetings. Ensures that only qualified personnel are hired and competent to perform all services and tasks assigned, including ensure licensure and certification requirements are met. Provides in home visits as needed. Provides oversight and ensures accurate completion of clinical medical record documentation, including electronic visit verification. Assists with complaint investigation, resolution, and follow-up as assigned. Provides oversight to the agency's infection control plan and practice. Serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator in the absence of the Executive Director. Participates in the organization's Performance Improvement and Compliance Programs including adherence to policy and procedures and the development, implementation, and completion of action plans. All other duties assigned. Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice. Minimum of one (1) year of Personal Care related experience preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Current CPR Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation. State Specific Requirements: For Category III and IV: FL: Must have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience as a registered nurse. TX: Must be a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas and have at least one (1) year experience as an RN within the last 36 months. AR, CT, PA, GA, MO, NC, NY, PA, TN, VA: No additional requirements. Summary: Provides armed security and safety services in all areas of the hospital, hospital properties, and the hospital's off-campus sites as assigned. Observe, correct, report and document incidents to management; identify, report and correct security and safety breaches; provide surveillance and security in the parking areas. Work independently to determine the correct response to most situations and initiate actions accordingly. Conduct and assist in investigations of criminal and administrative incidents; participate in the hospital lost and found program. Assist with violent or potentially violent patients, visitors, and staff in the Emergency Department, Behavioral Health Unit, and other areas of the hospital. Enforce and implement hospital policies related to security/safety. Assist in the hospital control center and other operational areas during breaks or staff shortage. Control access and monitor security of drugs in the hospital pharmacies through the hospitals access control system. Assist patients and visitors with automobile difficulty, such as changing tires, retrieving keys locked inside car, and other general needs. Investigate narcotic alarms, losses, and discrepancies. Each Security/Protective Services Officer must maintain a level of fitness which will allow him/her to respond fully to strenuous and or critical physical activity. Takes lead on special projects as assigned, maintains minimum training levels each year as defined by leadership, performs any function and/or training as assigned. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. They maintain a high quality of care by reviewing charts and making sure all the required parameters and hard stops are in place. They participate in the Quality Review Meetings and address any quality concerns with the Radiation Therapy team. They are also involved in system meetings aimed to improve the quality of care at a system level. When not working on administrative duties, the Lead Radiation Therapist will also be involved in treatments at the LINAC or coordinate the patient appointments at the SIM CT, depending on their rotation assignment. Summary: This position operates imaging devices, computers, ECG units, laboratory equipment, dose calibrator and radiation survey instruments. Responsibilities And Duties: 55% Performs scintigraphic scanning as prescribed by physician. 25% Performs image manipulation and quantitative studies. Archives patient studies on computer and quality control studies. 5% Receives, stores, and prepares radioactive and non-radioactive materials in preparation of patient doses. Assures availability of proper doses for patients. 5% Performs quality control and maintenance procedures for scanning; maintains quality control and wipe survey statistics. Assures all equipment is performing properly to obtain quality examinations. 5% Consults with physicians; shows images and/or computer patient studies to radiologist and/or cardiologist. Provides physicians with quality data for interpretation. 3% Administers diagnostic or therapeutic radiopharmaceutical/ pharmaceuticals limited to those within the scope of practice, through various routes to patient, under the direction of a physician. 2% Demonstrates sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication.
