The position is responsible for the overall coordination of testing processes within the campus and in conjunction with other OhioHealth hospitals and OhioHealth Laboratory Services. Responsibilities And Duties: 60% Manages all aspects of the hospital laboratory services to meet customer needs and support hospital and department balanced scorecard goals. This includes: direct responsibility for Laboratory operations and ownership/coordination of cross-functional, laboratory-related processes through leadership with Nursing, other departments, the medical staff, and administration. The Director is responsible for the development and management of department operating and capital budgets, as well as personnel issues within the department. 15% Ensures Laboratory Department complies with relevant Joint Commission, CAP, CLIA, and FDA standards, as well as any other state/federal/local agency rules or professional standards. Summary: Cath Lab Specific: The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. Arrhythmia (EP) Specific: The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. They maintain a high quality of care by reviewing charts and making sure all the required parameters and hard stops are in place. They participate in the Quality Review Meetings and address any quality concerns with the Radiation Therapy team. They are also involved in system meetings aimed to improve the quality of care at a system level. When not working on administrative duties, the Lead Radiation Therapist will also be involved in treatments at the LINAC or coordinate the patient appointments at the SIM CT, depending on their rotation assignment. Summary: This position is responsible for producing good quality exams in a timely manner while practicing good patient care and maintaining accurate patient records. The position assures the Mammography program meets all FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act and American College of Radiology requirements and standards. Responsibilities And Duties: 75% Conducts Mammograms; Escorts patient to the room, completes proper documentation, and explains procedure to patient prior to mammogram procedure. Takes images for interpretation. Verifies images are of good technical quality. 15% Assists radiologist with stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations to include: machine calibration, sterile field set-up, explaining procedure to patient, offering consolation and ensuring comfort to the patient during procedure. 10% Performs quality control and assurance practices. Schedules preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment and schedules necessary repairs. Assures all mammography manuals are kept up-to-date. Keeps accurate and current QC logs to document variances, investigates and corrects any abnormal QC occurrences. Dublin Methodist Hospital is hiring a part-time MRI Technologist for their expanding department. Hours are Thursday and Friday 7:00p-7:30a. This position prepares patient for testing (including thorough screening questioning), assists the radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms. Responsibilities And Duties: Operates MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, independent consoles, physiological patient monitors, and cardiac gating/monitoring equipment. Uses equipment to properly adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis. Demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Performs daily safety and quality control checks for the system. Sends images to PACS for interpretation. Transfers images to independent console for further manipulation. Reformats and performs post processing of images for radiologist interpretation.
