Job Description Performs basic ultra-sound pregnancy and IUD localization studies using Real-Time scanners with an abdominal and/or vaginal approach as needed for services provided by PPGNY. Our hours of operations are from 8am-4:3pm Monday through Friday and will reach out to the therapist as needed to fill open position due to time off, sickness, leave of absence, etc The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They prepare patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. Summary: This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in 2 or more of the following modalities: diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo. Responsibilities And Duties: Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas Provides radiation safety for operator and patient Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine. Minimum Qualifications: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health Additional Job Description: Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program. Registered with ARRT. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
