Direct Clinical Care: (80%)•Responsible for assessing, planning and administering health care which is individualized to the patient and consistent with the policies and protocols of PPFA and PPGNY.•Secures a complete health history and performs physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive health care, and other types of more specialized reproductive care including abortion care, and transgender hormone therapy.•Provides medications and contraceptive devices as needed.•Monitors medical aspects of all medical services offered at the health center, acting as a resource to center staff and patients regarding medical concerns.•Performs, orders and interprets appropriate laboratory tests.•Provides education and appropriate management for women and men in need of reproductive related services, including fertility control, infertility, and sexually transmitted infections.•Assesses and manages gynecological conditions and provides treatment consistent with PPGNY protocols, policies, and procedures.•Ensures appropriate medical follow-up on all patient testing and/or treatment, including direct patient contacts and laboratory test review.•Create & maintain medical documentation in an EHR system in compliance with EHR policies and procedures.•Provides postpartum care in selected settings within an interdisciplinary team framework with appropriate pre-service and in-service education.•Seeks consultations as necessary from Medical Director or designee.•Collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team and makes referrals to medical and community resources as indicated. Training: (10%)•At the discretion and direction of the Clinical Director, AVP of clinical implementation and or Medical Director, assists in training and orientation for newly hired APC's and new skill development.•At the discretion and direction of the health center management, assists in training and orientation for newly hired clinical support staff.•Attends agency sponsored staff meetings, medical in-services and trainings.
