A well established, 70 year old worldwide custom industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing Planner for permanent placement in their office and manufacturing facility in Arvada, CO. The company is a rapidly expanding OEM, and this position is a critical cross functional role that works with both the purchasing and planning teams. We are open for a range of skill levels from intermediate to senior, and you will have the opportunity to advance your skillsets with both Purchasing and Planning within the industrial equipment industry.
Responsibilities include owning the processes involved with purchasing of outside services (x-rays, blasting, assembled parts, etc.) and raw materials. 50% is planning/category management (Moving inventory through the ERP, suppliers, and managing delivery of the PO) and 50% purchasing and placing orders using critical thinking and problem solving. The position has room for advancement within the company. Salaries are based on applicable skill level. There is optional OT on weekends and holidays as you choose, but not required. Employees are eligible for health and dental benefits on day one, and will also be able to take advantage of a 401K with 60% match up to 6% and tuition reimbursement for continued education. PTO 80 hours, plus 48 hours sick and holidays (14 in a calendar year).

Daily planning activities require problem-solving skills to address equipment repair methods, material requirements, cost estimating and time estimating to complete requested work long-term outage planning requires ability to use Microsoft Project and skills to plan, estimate, coordinate, and resolve problems associated with outages
Actively support safety processes; participates in the process of identifying and selecting appropriate safety precautions, instructions, and required protective gear; ensure compliance with company Safety policies and procedures

Prepare financial plans for prospective and existing clients. This includes preparing comprehensive financial plans in eMoney, portfolio analysis using Orion or Morningstar, tax planning with Holistiplan, and solving other modules using custom analysis tools in excel.
Work with sales, advisors and clients to gather, organize and process data to prepare the financial planning analysis.
Use exceptional analytical and relationship management skills to uncover clients' needs and position the appropriate solution to meet those needs.
Partner with advisor teams to deliver an exceptional, seamless client experience focusing on accuracy, timeliness, and accountability for the client's future.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
