Graceland Management Services, LLC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Corporate Dispatch Planner to manage logistics operations within an assigned regional territory. This role involves full-cycle scheduling and dispatch planning for corporate-employed drivers, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and serve as a key liaison between drivers, dealers, and customers. Key Responsibilities:
Regional Planning: Oversee dispatch operations within a designated regional area. Manage a dedicated group of drivers by creating and maintaining their full work schedules.
Logistics Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of deliveries. Coordinate route planning, job assignments, and logistics solutions to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Work Distribution: Allocate transportation tasks between corporate drivers and independent contractors based on availability, location, and load requirements.
Permits and Compliance: Secure necessary permits for transportation operations and ensure compliance with regional and federal regulations.
Communication Management: Act as a point of contact for dealers, drivers, and customers. Resolve scheduling conflicts, provide delivery updates, and maintain excellent working relationships across all parties.
Technology Use: Utilize dispatching and logistics software, email, and phone communication tools to manage daily tasks effectively.
Requirements
High School Diploma required; some college preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High proficiency with computer systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
Experience managing or coordinating with independent contractors is a plus
Knowledge of transportation permits and regulatory requirements preferred (training available)
Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations (can be trained)
