The Role:
The Planner supports projects over $100 million by creating baseline and progress schedules for various stages of the project, gives technical and practical input on all project schedules and prepares and analyzes updates.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced level scheduling support to assigned projects
Manage the schedules for more than one project
Establish, monitor, and maintain project schedules, generally over 5000 activities per project
Participate in updating the master schedule and enterprise reporting

Lead and monitor tasks to ensure the successful delivery of technical assignments.
Act as a project resource through leading data collection and analysis efforts, providing technical transportation planning guidance, and assisting in review of design solutions.
Contribute to the development of planning reports, deliverables, and other project-related documents that meet both Arcadis standards and client requirements.
Regularly liaise with Project Managers and staff from other design disciplines within Arcadis and from partner firms to support successful project delivery.
Work with Project Managers on management tasks, including coordinating internal and external meetings, organizing document repositories, and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
Attend and contribute to client, stakeholder, and public engagement meetings and events as needed.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Demonstrated experience with transportation and/or urban planning for multi-disciplinary projects post-graduation.
Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering, planning or related field.

Experience with traffic and transportation software packages such as Synchro, Vissim, Visum, Cube and/or Sidra.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in civil or transportation engineering, planning or related field.
Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, database skills and other programs/software/skills relevant to the planning field.
