At Equifax, the Product, Data & Analytics, and Technology (PDAT) 12-week Internship Program is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. This particular role will provide experience and opportunity across our PDAT Planning & Execution (P&E) practice.
What You'll Do
Gain insight and experience across technical project management activities Assist in maintaining executive status reporting for P&E LeadershipCoordinate activities across project teams Collaborate and contribute to deliverables acceptance & gate reviews processes, integrated schedule management, dependency management, communication planning, scope & change control, risks & Issues management, knowledge management Support strategic planning process across technology, product and finance teams

What experience you need
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field Graduation date on or before December 2024Ability to work on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the internship Opportunities available for Summer 2023: May 15 - August 4

This intern may sit in one of the following three (3) locations and must be available to work onsite to qualify: Atlanta or Savannah, GA; Charlotte, NC.

The Transportation Planning Intern will be mentored by and support mid-level and senior planning staff. This individual will assist in projects to identify future multimodal transportation needs and support development of studies for clients. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands on experience and a better understanding of the Transportation Planning Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for Transportation System/Network Planning and Operations, Transit Planning, Freight Planning, Transportation Master Plans, Complete Streets, Pedestrian/Bicycle Facilities Planning, Land Use Planning and Environmental Planning
• Conduct research, data collection and analysis
• GIS, Mapping and development of representative figures
• Assist in report development and meeting preparation / support
• Perform basic calculations

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or associated field with an emphasis on Transportation Planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must reside and/or attend an institution (physical or online) near the aforementioned eligible internship locations (Atlanta or Savannah, GA/Charlotte, NC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3.0 GPA or higher
• GIS experience (ArcGIS Pro and/Arc Map, a plus)
• Experience or exposure to transportation planning in Georgia and/or North Carolina
• Specific interest in Transportation Planning

What is an Academic Year Part-Time Intern?

Historically, RS&H has a phenomenal track record of converting interns to entry-level associates. The Academic Year Part-Time Internship (AYPTI) provides soon-to-be graduates pursuing a career in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry with an opportunity to sharpen their skills and gain hands-on experience during their final year(s) of study.

Who is Eligible to apply?

Rising graduating seniors and 2nd-year graduate students, plus rising juniors and 1st-year grad students are eligible for AYPTI consideration.

Is this internship position remote?

While some tasks may be performed in a remote setting, the expectation is that the student will work on-site for up to 29 hours per week. Most AYPTI will average 15-20 hours per week.

Is this internship opportunity paid?

This is a paid internship. AYPTIs will be paid a fair and competitive wage in comparison to market standards.

When during the year does the Academic Year Part-Time Internship occur?

The internship will start during the month of September. Rising graduating seniors and 2 ^nd Year graduate students will intern for up to two (2) semesters during their final academic year. Should a rising junior or 1st-year graduate student be selected, they are eligible to intern for up to four (4) semesters to include the summer. Internship extensions will be granted based on performance and determined near the end of each semester. Graduating interns may be offered an entry-level position during or near the conclusion of their term.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Monitor, research, and assess best practices and emerging corporate social responsibility and social impact opportunities, with a particular focus in digital equity.

Support development of measures and metrics in association of existing as well as new social impact programs.

Collaborate with other team members on the design and implementation of public events that help bring to life our social impact initiatives and programs.

Requirements:

* Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
* Ability to work 40 hours the entire duration of the program
* Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future

Pay:

The range for this role is $18-$20/hour and is based on the academic level of achievement and business structure:

* Rising Sophomore: $18/hour
* Rising Junior: $19/hour
* Rising Senior: $20/hour
