Direct facility operations, including production, shipping/receiving, and maintenance.

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business-related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.
Background in lumber remanufacturing, wood working and or similar field preferred.
Working knowledge of lean six sigma methodologies and experience in leading change.
Analytical thinker with a strong basis on data gathering and analysis.
Energetic, organized and ability to manage a wide range of projects and priorities.
Excellent communicator and understanding of importance to ‘do what you say'.
Familiarity of ERP systems and methods of scheduling, inventory and shipping.
Strong computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office suite.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & ATTRIBUTES
Lumber remanufacturing facility with cutting and assembly equipment.
Indoor office area with outdoor production and lumber yard management.
Hearing protection, eyewear and steel-toed shoes required.
Initial travel expected, including participation in training and possible customer visits.

Lead the deployment and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across various departments and teams.
Conduct value stream mapping, identify waste, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Develop and implement standard work procedures to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
Utilize lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, and root cause analysis to drive problem-solving and process optimization.
Collaborate with leadership to align lean initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Mentor and coach team members to build lean capabilities and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure all lean activities prioritize safety and comply with regulatory and company standards.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university
and

Monitor cleaning results to assure that daily sanitation is executed in accordance with established guidelines and results are acceptable to USDA.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Background/Experience:
Thorough knowledge of food processing GMP's and technology required. Minimum 8 years food processing/manufacturing experience required, with at least five years of supervisory experience.
