JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all operations across the manufacturing facility
Direct all business operations, review/revise standard operation procedures, prepare and maintain operations budget, and lead strategic planning meetings to ensure the achievement of company KPIs
Oversee all special projects and capital projects
Ensure all departments are operating effectively, encouraging collaboration, and adhering to quality standards
Partner with the supply chain team to oversee logistics, distribution, and customer relations

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and/or related field is required
Minimum of 7+ years of operational leadership experience with responsibility over an entire manufacturing plant is required
Must have 10+ years of industrial manufacturing experience
Preference toward candidates with experience within a Just-In-Time manufacturing setting
Ideal candidates will have experience with Lean Six Sigma/5S strategies and know how to effectively apply them
Strong business acumen and experience with strategic planning, budgeting, improving EBITDA, resource allocation, gross margin improvement, human resources, customer service, and leadership of direct reports
Proven track record of implementing initiatives resulting in increased organizational efficiencies and profitable outcomes
Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, employees and fellow leadership, exemplifying professionalism and driving a culture of positivity and excellence

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree: Engineering or related field preferred; minimally, Business Administration or similar
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of ten years of plant supervisory experience required, including three years in operations management
Experience overseeing functions such as accounting or finance, safety, human resources, and quality preferred.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Valid driver's license.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.

* Coordinate with the Reliability Manager to monitor the maintenance status and production rates of all equipment to achieve an uninterrupted production flow and daily output expectations. * Develop and implement ideas to support fulfillment of department goals and procedures for continuous improvement, company profitability, and employee job satisfaction

What You Need To Succeed
* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related work experience preferred
* 5 plus years of related leadership experience in a production facility; folding carton is preferred
* Understanding of SQF is required
* Demonstrated mechanical acumen, engineering a plus
* Must have business acumen. Understanding ROI, P&L reporting, manufacturing operational databases.
* Demonstrated understanding of quality processes and continuous improvement, such as Six Sigma certification
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization, while accomplishing organizational goals
* Demonstrated knowledge of capital management including identifying opportunities where operational investments can have maximum impact.
