Description: The PlantManager focuses on effectively leading an operations team to achieve daily production, warehousing, quality, cost and delivery requirements to support the business operating plan. This is a "Player-Coach" role responsible for delivering high-level individual work while simultaneously overseeing & developing the team. This position is expected to develop and maintain adequate staffing and capacity plans across all plant operations - responsible for both IL & CA sites. The PlantManager must be able to positively manage a skilled workforce by collaborating with multi-functional teams as well as assessing talent development. Most importantly, this candidate will create a lean culture which embraces change and focus on continuous operational improvements. Responsibilities:
Oversees planning, budgeting, scheduling, production and overall quality of the products produced
Develop business plans, staffing plans and forecasts (implementing lean manufacturing concepts)
Direct production to ensure cost effectiveness and safety, quality, accuracy and performance standards
Expert “hands-on” knowledge of manufacturing process
Oversee the management of warehouse/shipping operations
Coordinate with HR Business Partner on Human Capital Strategy, employee relations as well as development
Continuously review and improve operational productivity
Facilitate problem solving within departments and cross functionally
Plan, organize, and direct plant operations to ensure the company's strategic goals are met in a timely, cost-effective manner that provides optimum quality and on-time customer delivery
Prepare and submit operating reports to management to inform and recommend methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Promote employee engagement and talent development through feedback and long term development
Research and implement investments in technology, equipment or systems that will enhance the plant's production capabilities to optimize production, improve efficiency and reduce conversion cost
Push the improvement of processes using Lean tools and by creating and sustaining a continuous improvement environment
Review manufacturing methods and develop product/process/ system strategies to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth
Gain appropriate outside resources to ensure the annual business plan and planned projects are realized
Drive operational excellence, Lean tools, best practices, and continuous improvement
This is a hands-on leadership role where the manager will balance strategic oversight with individual execution

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or an operations related field or equivalent operation experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing management experience - including both execution and leadership/mentorship
5 years managing and directing the activities of supervisors and developing people
10% travel is required
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics strongly beneficial
Target Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 salary a year with the opportunity for eligible employees to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).

We're seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and delivery performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership abilities, a background in CNC machining, aluminum die casting, or related manufacturing, and proven success implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage all personnel and functions within the production value stream, including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production Leads, and Production Team Members.
Monitor and improve performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics.
Provide strategic leadership across scheduling, planning, materials, sourcing, and logistics to meet customer and financial objectives.
Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance production flow and efficiency.
Maintain profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the production area.
Hire, train, mentor, and develop team members; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Support plant objectives and contribute to annual operational and strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with all relevant certifications, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.
Additional Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and customers.
Apply data-driven problem-solving techniques and the scientific method to identify and resolve issues.
Read and interpret engineering drawings; develop control plans and work instructions.
Prepare cost estimates and quotes using internal systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical preferred).
3-10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
Demonstrated success leading teams in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Experience with aluminum die casting is highly preferred.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You will provide the highest level of customer service through prompt response to all cargo enquiries, complete and accurate bookings and professional communication when following up with the customer on any missing cargo and/or documentation in order for the customers booking to be loaded as scheduled. It is the responsibility of the Export Customer Service Representative to ensure all requirements for the booking are complete so it can be handed over to Load Planning.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Communicate effectively to meet customer requirements, resolve customer problems or complaints expeditiously, and complete booking requests timely.
Working with the warehouse to ensure all cargo booked has been received prior to cut off.
Report any OS&D issues on cargo received to customers, follow up to determine the outcome if the cargo can be shipped, required to be re-packed or collected as it could not be exported.
Chase any missing documentation with the customer to ensure all required paperwork is received prior to cut off.
Complete booking requests
Arrange pick-ups with trucking company
Contact shippers and complete bookings for overseas routings received, making sure to send the booking confirmation details to the origin office/agent and continue to communicate on the status of the booking to ensure they are aware that the cargo was uplifted.
Determine if the customer requires VLS to complete export customs clearance, if so, correspond with the customs broker (if required) and complete the export entry.
Make sure Load Planning is aware of any special requirements on the handling of the cargo.
Add any additional charges to be billed and expenses for the costs on services incurred during the booking process
Lodge any hazardous paperwork with the Haz Team to seek pre approval on VLS being able to handle the cargo
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school or equivalent education; associate degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; logistics experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills (English required); excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Demonstrated 5-10 years of healthcare management experience, including at least five years of recent executive director and/or administrator job experience.
• Prior experience in a regional role and/or with multiple building responsibilities preferred; Experience in managing various disciplines while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and corporate standards is required.
• Experience in assisted living and memory care strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of financial management skills and familiarity with business principles and practices.
• Must hold or qualify for state license required to operate an Assisted Living Community; Nursing Home, or comparable service facility.
• Active / valid driver's license required for travel.
• Must possess proven track record in leading, training, and coaching professionals in achieving census and financial goals.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM database systems.
