Position Overview: As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating portable pugmills to batch Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) mix, maintaining plant equipment, and ensuring the quality and consistency of our concrete products. You'll work closely with site teams to ensure projects stay on schedule while upholding the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate portable pugmill plants to batch RCC and other concrete mixes. Receive, inspect, and manage stockpiled materials. Track and report daily production, material usage, water content, and operating hours. Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and minor maintenance of pugmill plants. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and report to management. Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are strongly preferred. Prior experience operating concrete mixing plants or pugmills is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Willingness to follow strict safety protocols. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. We are Kronospan Main duties and responsibilities The primary purpose of the Energy Plant Operator Trainee's position is to perform all assigned process tasks, including but not limited to, the safe operation of all boiler equipment and controls in support of MDF production. Additionally, the trainee will be required to perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility. The trainee will be required to understand and manipulate computer software related to the management of boiler operations. The trainee will also be required to identify conditions in the process or equipment which may lead to substandard production levels and initiate the proper corrective action. Further duties include assisting maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment. This position will be required to work a rotating shift schedule including weekends.
