These may include groundwater treatment plants, wastewater pretreatment/treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, soil vapor extraction/air sparge (SVE/AS) systems, or other treatment plants. The Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for general plant and property maintenance and implementation of onsite safety and quality control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform instrument calibration/measurement/data recording for operating parameters.
* Collect process samples to be shipped for laboratory analysis.
* Perform routine maintenance items such as filter changeouts, carbon backwashing, carbon or other media changeouts, pump and motor servicing, and/or any other routine maintenance required.
* Respond to system call-outs as required within 4 hours to keep the treatment plants running continuously.
* Perform/oversee routine site maintenance including limited mowing and snow removal.
* Treat water generating from construction dewatering events.
* Perform troubleshooting activities. Assist with repairs and treatment plant upgrades or modifications.
* Prepare daily reports to be emailed to the Project Manager.
* Prepare monthly reports including discharge monitoring reports
* Oversee onsite activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Who are we looking for?
A person in this position is responsible for operating production equipment to manufacture chemical batches in compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all local state and federal regulations regarding safety, health, and the environment.
What will you be doing?
* Work from written procedures to process, purify, and chemically fabricate products and their compounds through a sequence of batch operations.
* Operate equipment, including reactors, tanks, pumps, mixers, pH meters, level meters, flow meters, valves, and hoses used in the manufacture of said products.
* Handle liquid and solid chemicals using pumps, scales and flow meters.
* Weigh, measure and check raw materials and finished product to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities and that accurate inventory is maintained.
* Perform product weighing, packaging, labeling, and boxing operations in accordance with SOP's.
* Locate materials in the warehouse and transport to manufacturing areas using a forklift as needed
* Collect process samples and interface with laboratory personnel for analysis.
* Maintain required log sheets including but not limited to batch tickets, packaging sheets, scrubber operation log, pH meter calibration, and equipment inspections.
* Attend required HSE training including Hazardous Waste Management, emergency response, and Hazard Communication, and demonstrate an acceptable level of understanding of topics.
* Package, mark, and label Hazardous Waste containers.
* Operate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, OHSA'S 18001 standards.
* Communicate with shift leader regarding safety, production, quality, or any other operational issues. Actively participate in shift meetings to assist in work planning and continuous improvement.
* Adheres to all corporate, plant, and safety policies/procedures.
* Wears personal protective equipment as applicable.
* Completes all assigned training including corporate, HSE and Quality specific requirements
* Train other chemical operators in operations, processes, and procedures as needed to ensure efficiencies, safety, and compliance.

Who are You?
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 3+ years of applicable experience making batchs, working and blending chemicals. Chemical manufacturing is highly preferred.
* Experience with sulfide or cyanide gold reaction processes or other precious metals products.
* Experience working in a clean-room environment
* Forklift certification and Hazardous Waste Operations certification preferable

Tasks include line locating, providing repair estimates, and performing the service. In addition, you will help build our commercial customer base by visiting target customers to offer preventative maintenance agreements.
* Moves levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement and operation of water jetting system.
* Documents and computes weekly receipts, invoices, and expenses with the branch accounting personnel.
* Maintains truck by recharging batteries, filling fuel tank and cleaning vehicle parts and equipment.
Requirements
* For branches using a pull-behind jet machine, a DOT license will be required.
* Highschool diploma or equivalent.
* Individuals must be able to speak and write in English.
* Valid driver's license.
