Manage and maintain the compliance of permits and safety requirements
Collect various types of water samples, analyze and record data on lab sheets and company forms
Site's fire system monitoring and operations
Maintain security awareness during off hours while being the first point of contact for emergency situations
Identify, correct, and report hazards
Become properly trained and be able to enter confined spaces including open topped tanks as well as enclosed vessels for inspections and repairs

The Texas Water Utilities team has an opportunity for a Water-Wastewater Operator II. This role is under general supervision, performs routine tasks related to the operation of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities. What You'll Do
Essential Functions
Operates and maintains water and/or wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection limits.
Monitors and samples well and groundwater upon entry to the system. Adjusts treatment levels when below-standard variances are detected. Samples water prior to exiting system.
Detects and reports atypical conditions, such as: damaged, malfunctioning and tampered meters, detecting and reporting leaks, high/low consumption, exposed wiring and other safety hazards.
Conducts ongoing repairs to equipment, or shuts down equipment for more extensive maintenance and repair, activating alternate equipment as needed. Requests services of outside maintenance vendor for major repairs and overhauls.
Activates pumps, valves and other processing equipment to move water through various treatment processes. Disposes of waste materials removed from water in line with Company procedures and government controls.
Assists Lead Operator with emergency procedures in the event of overflow or spill of chemicals or unpurified water. Follows safety protocol.
Adds chemicals to water by predetermined formula. Advises Lead Operator when minimum inventory levels of these materials have been reached.
Reads and interprets meters and gauges on central control panel, or at individual machines or stages in the treatment process. Adjusts controls as needed. Retrieves computer reports on treatment process.
Prepares reports and maintains logs on meter readings, tests, chemical and equipment usage, and all other recordkeeping requirements; maintains various Company records and other reports as required by the state.
Back-washes filters and basins; handles chlorine in a safe, effective manner; assures proper working order of chlorine-related equipment.
Cleans and maintains treatment plant, pumping stations and wells; prepares and paints equipment, walls and floors.
Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to Company policies and standards.
Maintains a safe working environment and reports safety concerns to Area Manager.
Constant, independent travel daily between worksites on Company time.
Must work On-Call in rotation as scheduled; responds to emergency situations as required.

Experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* A successful Auxiliary Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of the power plant, related auxiliaries, and balance of plant systems from outside the control room.
* Performs start-up, operation, and shutdown of equipment, systems, and the plant in accordance with approved plant procedures, technical manuals and as directed by the Control Room Operator.
* Monitor and record local operating parameters, adjusting as required to maintain safe and efficient operation.
* Supports the Control Room Operators in the proper operation of the facility with minimal guidance or assistance. Competently operates and maintains all plant equipment. Capable of operating plant equipment locally via PLC panel interfaces. Communicates plant issues and keeps Control Room Operators fully informed of plant operations, unusual conditions, and faulty equipment.
* Fully supports the use of a computerized maintenance management system by displaying proficiency in using the system, entering data consistent with the facility maintenance philosophy.

Responsibilities
Develop procedures and tools necessary for the efficient operation of a diverse fleet of solar and storage facilities
Both real-time and long-term monitoring the operation and performance of solar and/or storage projects through remote DAS and SCADA systems.
Respond to system alarms and abnormal facility conditions by taking remote actions or alerting responsible parties
Provide a central point of contact and support for plant managers, field operators, utilities, and external clients regarding performance, control, and maintenance schedules.
Site performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Root cause analysis and performance improvement recommendations of underperforming systems.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in technical field of study such as engineering, technology, or physics. An Associate degree with professional training or certifications may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
Working knowledge of science and theory of electrical systems
Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and/or operation in a power generation facility or other industrial facilities
Experience with electrical maintenance, including PV technology, DC systems, AC systems, and network communications and monitoring.
Experience with Distribution and Transmission System Operations preferably NERC System Operator Certified or equivalent.
Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct a broad range of network or system issues
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Experience working with a computerized maintenance management and scheduling system
Employees must be able to maintain unescorted access to NERC regulated facilities
Control Center personnel must complete all ACT provided training requirements necessary for the safe and compliant remote operation of solar and storage facilities
Work is to be primarily performed in an office environment. However, all personnel are expected to occasionally perform site visits for training and technical support.

What You'll Do
Essential Functions
Operates and maintains water and/or wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection limits.
Monitors and samples well and groundwater upon entry to the system. Adjusts treatment levels when below-standard variances are detected. Samples water prior to exiting system.
Detects and reports atypical conditions, such as: damaged, malfunctioning and tampered meters, detecting and reporting leaks, high/low consumption, exposed wiring and other safety hazards.
Conducts ongoing repairs to equipment, or shuts down equipment for more extensive maintenance and repair, activating alternate equipment as needed. Requests services of outside maintenance vendor for major repairs and overhauls.
Activates pumps, valves and other processing equipment to move water through various treatment processes. Disposes of waste materials removed from water in line with Company procedures and government controls.
Assists Lead Operator with emergency procedures in the event of overflow or spill of chemicals or unpurified water. Follows safety protocol.
Adds chemicals to water by predetermined formula. Advises Lead Operator when minimum inventory levels of these materials have been reached.
Reads and interprets meters and gauges on central control panel, or at individual machines or stages in the treatment process. Adjusts controls as needed. Retrieves computer reports on treatment process.
Prepares reports and maintains logs on meter readings, tests, chemical and equipment usage, and all other recordkeeping requirements; maintains various Company records and other reports as required by the state.
Back-washes filters and basins; handles chlorine in a safe, effective manner; assures proper working order of chlorine-related equipment.
Cleans and maintains treatment plant, pumping stations and wells; prepares and paints equipment, walls and floors.
Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to Company policies and standards.
Maintains a safe working environment and reports safety concerns to Area Manager.
Constant, independent travel daily between worksites on Company time.
Must work On-Call in rotation as scheduled; responds to emergency situations as required.
Completes facility and vehicle inspections, along with related follow-up.
Installs and reads water meters.
Acts as liaison between customers and customer service; provides on-site customer communication.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless utility service.

Intermediaries in CAT service can simultaneously manage multiple losses for water, including the organization and management of temporary workers. To qualify for this position, you must have 12 months of previous experience in the Basic Level of Water Damage in BELFOR or equivalent standard experience in the sector, as well as having directly participated in (at least) 25 water damage projects. This position represents level 3 in the progressive itinerary of Water Damage.

Properly identify Class 4 material, moisture measurements, and deploy most effective technique to dry/restore the material
Evaluate integrity of affected structural materials and contents for direct and indirect water damage; accurately assess the cost of restoring vs cost of replacement.
Create moisture maps using tools and knowledge provided
Supervise small crews on above tasks

Qualifications
Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
Carry current IICRC WRT designation
Must demonstrate familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book
Must demonstrate proper use of appropriate meters and IR camera, understanding of affected vs unaffected building materials and contents.
Demonstrate ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan, complete a Moisture Content Log, complete a Pychrometric Log and determine drying goals
Demonstrate an understanding of air mover calculation, LGR dehumidification chart; electrical power spec and electrical circuits
Demonstrate mastery in the use of HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer, NavPro Moisture Meter or equivalent and the recording of data
Experience with Truck mount extraction systems, maintenance and troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience supervising small crews (up to 10 people) on Residential/Commercial and Industrial losses
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy
Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
English language literacy and fluency

Position Summary / Purpose:
Our Mitigation teams are the frontline first responders to our customers' disasters. Assist customers quickly, efficiently, and professionally to mitigate the damage from worsening in their home or business through the timely and effective delivery of emergency mitigation services. Provide operations support to project superintendents and team leaders through the timely and accurate creation of all project estimates including Xactimate estimates and self-pay contracts.
Job Duties:
Effectively perform all the mitigation services the company offers.
Water extraction
Equipment set up and take down.
Containment
Contaminated material removal includes flooring, cabinets, drywall, etc.
Complete drying of the structure
Cleaning
Complete necessary documentation, daily logs, work orders, etc.
Inspect completed work to ensure company's quality standards.
Load vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies for the day's work.
Maintain basic cleanliness of company vehicles used each day.
Clear, professional, and timely communication with customers, team members, and managers
Participation in all required training assigned by Training Director
All other tasks as assigned by the Crew Leader, Superintendent, or Manager
Qualifications:
1+ year experience in water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanings
1+ year experience in carpentry
Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule
Available for regular overtime
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Able to lift 50 LBS
Possess excellent customer service skills
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
IICRC Certifications are required
Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver's License and pass MVR check
Must be able to pass a background check

About the role
The Wastewater Treatment Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental and safety duties as assigned. This position requires an ability to follow instructions consistently and to communicate effectively so that all activities are aligned with the desires of the Operations Supervisor and Reworld
Responsibilities:
· Complete work sheets and forms clearly and consistently.
· Gather and assist with evaluating samples (as assigned).
· Assist and/or manage the offloading of waste streams and chemical treatment products.
· Assist and/or manage bulk chemical transfers.
· Load and unload bulk tankers.
· Maintain a clean work area.
· Perform cleanings of wastewater process equipment (as assigned).
· Monitor the operation of all wastewater processing equipment.
· Maintain the operational performance of the wastewater equipment.
· Identify and report operating anomalies to the Operations Supervisor or Maintenance Department.
· Direct and assist with the operation of the sludge transfer and dewatering systems.
· Conduct basic laboratory tests to evaluate wastewater samples, as directed.
Schedule:
· Monday-Friday, average 8 to 10 hours per day. Flexible with start time (facility runs 6 am to 6:30 pm). 10-20% OT including some Saturdays.
Requirements:
· Wastewater certification preferred.
· 1 year experience as Waste Water Treatment Technician
· High School diploma/GED. Formal training in higher level of education preferred.
· With adequate training after being hired, be able to install and operate remediation systems including but not limited to pumps, filters, vessels, media change-outs, etc.
· Shop work including but not limited to cleaning and maintaining shop and equipment, operating heavy equipment (forklifts, Vac-Trucks, etc.).
· Strong attention to details with the ability to analyze
· Highly dedicated worker with sense of teamwork
· Ability to thrive on hard work and demonstrated pride in solutions-oriented result
Physical Demands:
