This individual is responsible for assisting mixing/blending of materials, operation of process equipment, and related duties. Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders.
Complies with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.

Essential Duties
Break up and remove existing surfacing before paving.
Manual labor such as digging, leveling and spreading dirt, gravel or earth and other construction materials by using hand tools.
Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake.
Ability to operate motorized equipment (skid steer, excavator, concrete buggy)
Maintain a clean job site
Conduct documented pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) - two (2) years of recent construction experience
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation O Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to read a tape measure
Have good grade perception
Ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
Punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, Chemical Operator will be located at the company's headquarters and primary manufacturing location in Medina, OH location. This individual is responsible for assisting mixing/blending of materials, operation of process equipment, and related duties. They will maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures are being followed. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting mixing/blending of materials, filling and labeling bulk containers, and operation of process equipment
Assisting in the unloading of rail cars and tank wagons
Operate a forklift to stage materials
Complete production reporting and quality control reporting in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains the cleanliness of the yard
Maintains the organization of the tote and drum storage area
Must follow all safety procedures and act in a safe manner at all times and have an understanding and awareness of chemicals and their nature, hazards, safety and health issues etc. (MSDS's, use of PPE etc.)
Performs scheduled cycle counts
Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements
