**During your 8-hour shift as a Plant Operator, you will**
+ Manufacture quality products following standard recipes and procedures under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Operations Supervisor.
+ Support the loading and unloading of tank trucks and railcars, and box trailers.
+ Operate industrial equipment such as refrigeration units, pumps, filters, agitators, and overhead hoists using both field controls as well as automated systems and PLC's.
+ Operate powered mobile equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and yard tractors.
+ Support the Prill Tower operation, where molten surfactants are processed into a solid form and packaged.
**If you...**
+ Hold a HS Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of chemical manufacturing and processing experience
+ Are willing and able to work 8 hr shifts (rotating day/afternoon/night M-F, holidays and weekends on call as needed).
+ Can lift up an carry up to 50 lbs, working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
+ Are familiar with process equipment such as storage tanks, pumps, hoses, etc. and mobile equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and yard tractors.
+ Have previous experience with bulk containers (tank trucks, railcars, ISO containers)
+ Have previous experience using a yard tractor to shuttle trailers between docks and loading stations
+ Hold a NJ State High Pressure Boiler's License - Black or Blue Seal (preferred, not required)

Maintains documentation regarding EPA, DEP, state, and local codes for compliance.
Completes campus boiler plant rounds in all required campus properties throughout the shift.
Makes logbook entries and conducts maintenance.
Check, record, and report fuel and water levels.
Keeps boiler and machine rooms safe and clean.
Inspects to ensure proper operation of and fills water softeners around campus.

OVERVIEW
The successful candidate must have experience in Boiler plant operations and maintenance.
Gas and Steam Turbines, Electrical installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls located in the interior and exterior of building.
Plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance of piping and associated equipment and components located in the interior and exterior of building are preferred.
Installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical/electrical operating equipment and machinery.
Regularly conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the building systems operations.

Job Purpose:
The Black Seal Boiler Operator is responsible for the operation and reliability of plant utility systems and be able to trouble shoot and make repairs on a wide variety of equipment. Additionally, complete preventive maintenance on equipment and identify/implement continuous improvement opportunities.

3+ years of maintenance experience
Multi-craft skills (Ex: mechanical, welding & electrical)

Troubleshoot and make repairs throughout the entire complex on a wide variety of equipment
Preventive maintenance
Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement opportunities

About the role
As an Auxiliary Operator, you will work in collaboration with our facility control room to operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure the operational effectiveness of Reworld's industrial disposal process.
Position Responsibilities:
Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, systems include, but are not exclusively limited to boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, and heavy industrial equipment
Monitor and inspect various boiler plant auxiliary equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devices
Read and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends and/or potential equipment disruptions that impact facility operations
Monitor air pollution control equipment

Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment, such as: cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts
Responsible to maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel in operations equipment, and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits and areas of operations

POSITION PURPOSE The Chemical Operator will monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including field equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. Qualifications

Job Description
Duration could go longer depending on workload and performance.
Receives instruction and/or on the job training in the operation of a water treatment plant Performs routine tasks such as recording meter readings and taking water samples Performs routine maintenance and repair work on pumps, electric motors, valves and other mechanical equipment Performs housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining plant equipment and property Under direction of an experienced water treatment plant operator, adjusts, regulates and maintains alum and lime feeders, chemical feed machines, chlorinators, purification machines, and water filters, flowmeters, and other mechanical equipment Will be required to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and computerized information systems used by the agency, office, or related units
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment Knowledge of the purpose and operation of varied equipment found in water treatment plant such as pumps, valves and gauges Knowledge of methods used in operating, adjusting, and regulating alum and lime feeders, chemical feed machines and chlorinators, purification machines, water pumps, filters and flowmeters Ability to work harmoniously with associates and with other groups and individuals engaged in or concerned with work relating to the water treatment plant.
Ability to use judgment and make decisions to keep the plant operating Ability to learn to utilize various types of electronic and or manual recording and information systems used by the agency office or related units Good communications skills both verbal and written
Qualifications
Previous experience in a water treatment plant, pumping station or filtration plant. Water Treatment 1 License (T-1) required
H.S. minimum Required to possess a valid Public Water Treatment Operator license of the appropriate class, Water Treatment 1 License (T-1), required
Must have valid driver's license and Water Treatment 1 License (T-1)

Role Summary: We are seeking a reliable Wastewater Operator to support the operation and maintenance of our Warren, NJ Wastewater Treatment Facility . Responsibilities include monitoring process conditions, performing routine equipment maintenance, collecting and submitting samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation and occasional weekend or holiday coverage. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and clear communication are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform critical testing of facility operations, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, alkalinity, etc., to monitor process conditions
Perform general preventative maintenance on treatment plant equipment such as blower oil, filter and belt changes pulling and inspecting submersible pumps, etc.
Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all phases of facility operations
Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all equipment and plant maintenance
Assist to prepare monthly written operating report based on facility's operation and/or maintenance records for the client, employer or regulatory agency as required
Inform Supervisor in a timely manner of plant problems, upsets, plant expansion, repairs, etc.
Work conscientiously, adhere to EH&S policies and processes, and be aware of safety hazards
Participate in 24 hour on call rotation
Be prepared to discuss in a professional manner the plant operations with employer, client, visitors, or regulatory personnel
Collect required samples, log in samples correctly and accurately, and submit samples to laboratory and review results to ensure permit compliance
Operate the plant to meet all regulatory guidelines and responsibilities
Assist maintenance personnel with pump, blower, motor, valve, etc. removal
Maintain accurate records for equipment run times, chemical inventory, timesheets, expenses, etc.
Work scheduled weekends and occasional holidays for plant coverage
Project a positive image to operators, clients, regulatory agencies, engineers, etc.
Confined Space Entry - this may be required on occasion after thorough training provided by NSU
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be 21 years of age or older
1 year of wastewater experience, preferred
Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as requested
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Valid Driver's License required
NJ Wastewater license required (S1 OR S2)
