This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. Basic Purpose: To ensure that Cool Whip emulsion is cooled, aged, processed, whipped, filled, lidded, weighed, properly coded, and sent to the packaging area efficiently and safely to provide the highest level of quality and delivery to our customers. Responsibilities/Duties: Perform weekend cleaning and sanitizing activities. Including but not limited to CIPS, chemical usage and handling, working with strawman hoses (hot and cold water), hopper, miscellaneous production equipment, filler cleaning, floor scrubbing, production-sanitation preventative maintenance tasks, manifold y-pipe cleaning/changing, and period cleaning. Performs changeover cleaning/sanitizing and production activities. This will include but not be limited to cleaning and sanitizing fillers, hoppers, manifolds, y-pipes, sparge tube hoses, and miscellaneous parts. Communicate with the Supervisor or group leader about product changeovers and any other information necessary to ensure the specified degree of quality and efficiency. The RoleTravertine is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Operator to be part of the team operating our first-of-a-kind Demonstration Plant. This role involves close collaboration with other operators, engineers, and the R&D team to maintain steady operation while acquiring the critical data needed to verify carbon dioxide removal and inform the commercial design. Tasks will include equipment operation and maintenance, solution preparation, sample collection, sample analysis, waste neutralization and disposal, and other tasks as needed. Ability to troubleshoot process equipment and process issues is critical for this role.
