The development of the Water Damage Specialist at the intermediate level has four (4) objectives: 1) to act as head of the water damage team that deals with residential losses and small commercial losses; 2) knowledge and technical competence in IICRC's standard work practices on water and mold damage; 3) competence in the use, care and maintenance of water extraction equipment, portable drying equipment and moisture detection instruments; and 4) ability to determine the extent, dimension and distribution of moisture, and to document water losses. Intermediaries provide assistance in the development of basic level technicians and assist advanced technicians in complex or large-scale projects. Intermediaries in CAT service can simultaneously manage multiple losses for water, including the organization and management of temporary workers. The schedule is a 12-hour day with seven days on/ seven days off providing you with potential for up to 26 weeks a year off. A High-Pressure Boiler license is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities include: Gain knowledge and thoroughly understand and operate systems associated with our 8.5-Megawatt Biomass Powerplant. · Operate assigned control systems including distributed control, water, steam, combustion, turbine generator and related components, in a safe and efficient manner. · Perform two written machinery rounds per 12-hour shift and report any anomalies that are found to the Plant Manager and / or Assistant. · Conduct chemical testing of boiler water and associated auxiliaries.
