In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a high paced, performance driven environment with a proven team that is both capable and knowledgeable in High-Volume Aggregates Production. Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures. This position will operate the crusher as well as monitor conveyor belts and related equipment conveyance equipment. Manually Operate the crushing and screening equipment operation. Visually observe and monitor gauges and of all equipment while in operation to maintain proper flow of material on belts, crushers, and screens. Maintain strong communications with all other plant employees to ensure efficient and safe workflow from quarry to crusher. Identify appropriate material to produce quality aggregate material per job specifications. Communicate with quality control and management personnel and assist in making required adjustments to material blends. Perform routine maintenance on conveyor belts and crushing equipment including splicing, replacing idlers, pulleys, drive belts, bearings, changing of screens, cleaning, and lubrication. Shut down equipment as required in the event of an emergency, blockages, or end of shift; coordinate/assist in required repairs. Operate telehandlers, skid steers and/or any other required equipment needed to perform the task at hand. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; MSHA Part 46 training a plus. Any other duties as assigned by Management. Assigned as Day Control Room Operator. Supervises operation of plant, under general direction. Supervises, instructs, and assigns specific duties to shift workers. Reviews and evaluates work performance. Inspects plant equipment and processes regularly. Determines site and causes of any malfunctions. Maintains and evaluates operating records. Section 2 - Major Responsibilities Monitors Control Room SCADA System. Makes adjustments to pumping levels as required. Monitors plant operations by observation, instrumentation and laboratory test results and makes process adjustments to predetermined parameters. Operates base station for radio transmissions. Takes samples at various operating points in the plant process and interprets data. Responsible for housekeeping in assigned units. Monitors condition of mechanical equipment and notifies appropriate personnel of needed repairs or any operational problems. Observes all safety guidelines as initiated by the NTMWD. Responsible for the safe handling and unloading of various chemicals. May be responsible for responding to various emergency situations as directed by supervisor. Required to maintain thorough written process logs and records. Runs various lab tests. Section 3 - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must possess the ability to communicate and document daily activities to ensure proper plant operation. Must be able to run lab tests and interpret results and equipment malfunction. Section 4 - Education and Experience Five years of experience in water treatment. (Credit given for college courses.) Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (or predecessor agency) Class B Water Operator's Certificate of Competency required. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Requires a valid Texas Driver's License. Section 5 - Environmental Factors, Activity Levels and Equipment This position requires physical exertion with lifting requirements up to 10 pounds daily in order to obtain samples and turn valves. Individual must be able to make rounds and inspect equipment located in remote areas within the plant, occasionally at heights or depths in excess of 12 feet. Working conditions include exposure to weather, odor, chemical hazards, gases and dust. Hand tools, broom, sample collectors, flow meters, respirators, SCBA's, lab equipment, and safety equipment will be used during normal activities.

Monitors and operate sewage lift stations and the water distribution system. * Monitors and operates wastewater treatment plant equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, filters, gauges, and meters to ensure proper operation of the plant and sewage lift stations. * Monitors and operates water distribution system equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, gauges, and meters to maintain reliable operation of the water distribution system. * Tracks wastewater flow, dissolved oxygen concentration, and ammonia concentration; makes process adjustments as needed. * Monitors water storage tank levels and distribution pressures; adjusts system operations to meet consumer demand for potable water. * Operates bio-solids dewatering equipment as needed. * Collects wastewater samples and interprets lab results to make process adjustments. * Maintains daily logs and prepares monthly reports on wastewater operations. * Keeps work areas clean, safe, and organized around plant processes and buildings. * Completes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders on pumps, motors, air blowers, and other equipment in a timely manner. * Informs supervisor of all problems, deviations, and unfamiliar situations. * Adheres to the personnel, safety, and department policies and procedures. * Assist coworkers as needed. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required. * Must possess a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Class "C" Wastewater Operator license prior to employment offer and obtain a Class "C" Water Distribution Certificate within 12 months of hire. * Must have a valid Texas driver's license and driving record must be in compliance with Town policy. * Minimum of one (1) year of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations is required. TITLE Power Plant Operator Performs highly skilled technical operations and maintenance work in the installation, service, and repair of central plant and auxiliary heating and air-conditioning systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include the efficient operation and maintenance of the university's central utility plant equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating and air-conditioning systems. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Supervisor, Power Plant Operations/ and or Maintenance Supervises: No supervisory responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following: Performs supplemental support shift work in rotation with other personnel as needed for plant operation (i.e., 2:00pm to 10:00pm shift). Operates chill water plant on rotating shift. Recovers and recharges refrigerants as required; performs preventive maintenance on cooling towers and evaporative condensers. Inspects and tests refrigeration systems, safety devices, and controls for efficiency of operation and compliance with safety practices, laws and regulations. Troubleshoots and take necessary corrective action for major malfunctions and breakdowns of heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, pumps, air heating/refrigeration and air conditioning units, coils, fans, subsystems and component parts, steam systems, etc. Documents any corrective action taken or changes made by altering electrical schematics. Observes prescribed work and safety rules. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Orders parts and supplies as needed. May assist with and/or direct work of others on assigned projects. Prepares and submits reports. Performs other duties as requested. EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade school preferred. State certification preferred. EXPERIENCE Three years of central plant or HVAC-R experience. Job related vocational training or other education may substitute on a year for year basis for the required experience or graduation from a certified technical/vocation school. REQUIREMENTS Freon recovery certification and/or the ability to be certified within six months of date of employment. Valid Texas driver's licenses and a safe driving record such as required by the university for Driver's Authorization. TITLE Power Plant Operator Performs highly skilled technical operations and maintenance work in the installation, service, and repair of central plant and auxiliary heating and air-conditioning systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include the efficient operation and maintenance of the university's central utility plant equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating and air-conditioning systems. The Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage all aspects of utility onboarding and other utility matters Update utilities database, as needed Communicate with residents and 3 rd party utility companies daily Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to develop a strong working relationship with providers and residents Assist leadership and colleagues as needed. Work collaboratively with all team members Provide a timely response to all resident requests from internal and external parties Assist with utility billing and general business functions Acquire and maintain knowledge of current state, Local, and utility policies and/or procedures Assist with resolving and documenting utility liens Other activities as assigned by your manager. Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma required plus 2+ years of general office or call center experience HOA or property management experience a definite plus Excellent computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel Organized with strong attention to detail Demonstrates the ability to take initiative, be independent and a self-starter Effective project management skills and able to manage multiple projects and priorities Good time-management skills, able to consistently meet goals and deadlines without sacrificing quality Exhibits sound judgment and decision-making ability Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and reading skills Able to work effectively under pressure and operate in a fast-paced work environment Additional Information.
