Overview Salary: $51,000 - $64,000 Annually Summary: The PlantOperator is responsible for ensuring raw materials are properly received, stored, and loaded for production. This position is also responsible for performing routine maintenance on plant equipment and ensuring that the yard area is properly maintained and organized.

Work Environment

The environment can be dirty and hot due to machines operating at high temperatures and the nature of the products being manufactured, such as oils and lubricants. The position is a 1st shift role, with hours from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., requiring flexibility for overtime and occasional Saturday work. Teamwork is highly emphasized, and all safety standards and ISO regulations must be followed.

• Follows sanitation procedures for clean ups and change overs, including chemical handling.

What You'll Do
Support production and site operations by operating and maintaining key equipment:
Run crushers, screens, and wash plantsOperate loaders, haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, and more
Assist with routine maintenance, welding, inspections, and general labor
Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
Work in varying weather conditions with early morning starts and occasional weekend hours

Summary:
The Utility associate is responsible for various services to include but not limited to cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots and pans using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards; checking ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas and Co2 containers and replace if necessary; loading and unloading supply trucks; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Cook, Assistant Manager or the Store Manager, depending on local requirements.
Essential Functions:
* Cleans equipment which may include worktables, refrigerators, meat blocks and other equipment
* Cleans utensils, pots and pans by washing them by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine
* Clear, clean, sanitize and reset tables in dining area and transport soiled service ware and utensils to the kitchen for cleaning
* Returns clean utensils, pots and pans to their proper places
* Removes trash and garbage to designated areas
* Sweeps, mops, scrubs and buffs floors using heavy equipment
* Cleans walls, windows and steam cleans trashcans
* Stocks, dates, rotates and checks temperature of product Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
* Loads and unloads supply trucks
* Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
* Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs
* Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
* Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
* Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
