This water treatment technical representative position is focused on maintaining and expanding business base by maximizing the profitability of assigned customer accounts. About Verbio
This location is the site of the former DuPont cellulosic ethanol facility. At this site, VERBIO produces biomethane (renewable natural gas) from baled crop residues and ethanol from corn. Future growth will include an expansion of the biomethane process and retrofitting of the ethanol facilities.
Position Purpose
The PlantOperator is responsible for the operation of the Biorefinery and performing routine basic maintenance in a highly automated chemical facility. In the area of maintenance, PlantOperators are responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, basic repair, and cleaning of all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes. At times, PlantOperators may be asked to assist Maintenance Operators in more technical and complex maintenance procedures. Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment, and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs). Continuous plantoperation requires 12-hour shift work. PlantOperators must be able to adapt to 12-hour workdays and be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.

We are seeking a Lithium Carbonate Control Room Operator to join our Lithium Carbonate Process Plant team. Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor DCS systems covering mineral beneficiation, classification, leaching, neutralization, purification, filtration, crystallization and packaging circuits
* Ability to configure and utilize the historian database to trend key equipment and process parameters for maximum productivity
* Monitor critical process parameters such as feed tonnage, particle size distribution, pulp density, reagent addition, concentrate grade, and recovery
* Direct field operators in performing adjustments, inspections, and troubleshooting tasks

* Respond to alarms and process deviations, implementing corrective actions to prevent safety, production, or quality impacts

* Support maintenance teams with isolation, lockout-tagout-tryout (LOTOTO), and process readiness for planned interventions

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 USD per year.

This position represents level 3 in the progressive itinerary of Water Damage.

Role
We are seeking a Lithium Carbonate Process Operator to join our Lithium Carbonate Process team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the control room operator to achieve target production while progressively developing competency in the upstream and downstream circuit responsibilities and functions. The role is based at our Thacker Pass mine site and reports to the Lithium Carbonate Process Shift Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain trusted relationships across all teams while championing a culture that reflects and supports our Purpose, Vision, and Values
* Monitor and adjust equipment in the assigned circuits including beneficiation, classification, leaching, neutralization, filtration, crystallization and packaging circuits
* Understand Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to track process conditions and respond to alarms
* Adjust process parameters (flow, pressure, temperature, pH, reagent dosing) under guidance from the process control room operator and/or process shift supervisor to maintain optimal conditions
* Conduct regular field inspections to check equipment performance, leaks, blockages, and general plant condition
* Collect, label, and deliver samples for laboratory testing (slurry, brine, filtrate, product)
* Record production data, log sheets, and shift reports accurately and on time
* Follow instructions from supervisors and control room operators to maintain product quality within specifications
* Assist in troubleshooting process upsets and implementing corrective actions
* Adhere to all safety protocols while performing assigned job tasks
* Participate in routine safety meetings, hazard identification, and incident reporting
* Follow procedures for waste management, labeling, and environmental protection
* Operate in accordance with lockout/tagout requirements as needed
* Support routine maintenance activities, including equipment isolation and preparation for repairs
