Key Duties * Operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and/or stockpile aggregates. * Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. * Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. * Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump Material. * Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning * Operate the equipment over rocky or uneven land safely. Drive smoothly under harsh weather conditions. * Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements * General. Responsible for monitoring the operations of the Complex Water Treatment Plants Seminole County's owns and operates. Also monitors Lift Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Re-use Treatment Facilities. Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description. Additional compensation based on licensure. Considerable hands-on knowledge of pump operations and maintenance, well field operations, chlorination equipment operation and maintenance, on-line analytical meter calibration, and operation and calibration of laboratory and field analytical equipment.
