What You'll Do
As a PlantOperator, you'll be hands-on with the systems that convert organic waste into renewable natural gas. Your work keeps the plant safe, efficient, and compliant.

Operate and monitor digesters, feedstock systems, pumps, blowers, compressors, RNG upgraders, and pipeline injection systems
Use SCADA/PLC controls to optimize plant performance

Support environmental and safety compliance

Wastewater Treatment Systems Operator, level 3 in South Dakota.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment used in the wastewater treatment process.
Ability to perform, analyze, and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational adjustments.
Knowledge of the mechanical, biological, and chemical processes involved in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant. Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of wastewater treatment plant components.
High School diploma or GED required
Must be able to climb ladders, regularly lift weights up to 50 pounds, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Underground Utility Operator/Laborer to join our team. This role involves operating equipment and assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems such as water, sewer, electrical, and telecommunications lines. Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, and directional drills.
Load and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
Excavate trenches and prepare sites for underground utility installations.
Assist with locating underground utilities and ensuring proper digging procedures.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation.
Labor Duties:

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License
Experience in underground utility installation, construction, or excavation.
Ability to operate equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of utility locates, trenching, and excavation best practices.
Ability to obtain Class A CDL
Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
Understanding of blueprints, utility maps, and work orders is a plus.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites ( up to 3 weeks at a time).

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs preventive maintenance and repairs on the wastewater collection systems to ensure proper operation.

* Inputs, updates and maintains information and records using computer programs.
* Operates sewer camera system to visually inspect and document sewer line conditions.
* Locate sewer and storm drains using electronic equipment.
* Inspects, maintains and repairs and wastewater lines.
* Maintains, and repairs sanitary sewer lift station equipment.
* Cleans, televises and repairs sanitary and storm sewers.
* Performs maintenance on storm sewers.
* Adjusts, repairs and replaces manhole rings and covers.
* Transports equipment and materials to and from work sites.
* Collects wastewater samples for sanitary sewer overflows
* Maintains up-to-date records of all maintenance activities.
* Sprays pesticides to control mosquitoes on City property.
* Cleans, lubricates, and performs preventive maintenance or repair on equipment.

* Report all accidents to the appropriate authority. Follows all policies for reporting.
* Provides backup assistance to other department personnel as needed.

* Perform emergency repairs and work as necessary.
* Reports to work for after hour needs, as assigned.
